초등학생의 디지털리터러시 하위요인별 영향요인 탐색

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 디지털기술이 학교현장에 광범위하게 활용되는 상황에서 초등학생의 디지털리터러시 에 영향을 주는 학생 및 가정배경, 그리고 학교특성을 탐색하었다. 연구방법: 대구교육종단연구2021의 3차년자료를 바탕으로 2수준 다층모형을 활용하여 디지털활용, 디지털 조절 및 디지털윤리에 영향을 미치는 학생특성과 가정배경, 학교의 교육활동과 학교배경을 탐색하였다. 연구결과: 디지털리터러시의 하위요인별 영향요인에 차이가 있었으며, 디지털윤리의 학교별 차이가 큰 편 이었다. 학생들의 자기주도학습과 스마트폰중독, 가정에서의 디지털교육과 사교육, 학교의 디지털교육과 수 업에서의 디지털활용, 학교규모 등이 디지털리터러시의 모든 하위요인에 영향을 주었으며, 성별에 따라 디 지털윤리에 차이가 있었다. 논의 및 결론: 학생들의 디지털리터러시를 높이기 위한 다양한 프로그램을 제공하고 관련 지원을 강화해 야 하며, 특히 디지털윤리 수준을 높이기 위한 교육적･정책적 관심이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study examined the effects of student and family backgrounds and school characteristics on elementary school students’ digital literacy within the context of extensive digital technology use in schools. Method: Based on the 3rd year data of the Daegu Education Longitudinal Study 2021, a two-level multilevel model was applied to explore student characteristics, family background, school educational activities, and school background that affect digital utilization competency, regulatory competency, and ethical competency. Results: There were differences in the influencing factors for each sub-competency of digital literacy, and there were many differences between schools in ethical competency. Students' self-directed learning and smartphone addiction, digital education and private education at home, digital education and classroom use of digital tools, and school size influenced digital literacy, and there were differences in digital ethics competency depending on gender. Conclusion: We need to provide various programs and strengthen related support to increase the digital capabilities of elementary school students. In particular, educational and policy attention is needed to increase digital ethical capabilities.
