예비유아교사 모의수업의 의미

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사들이 4년간 모의수업을 통해 느낀 심정을 저널쓰기로 수집하고 분석하여 예비유아교사들이 경험하는 모의수업의 의미와 시사점을 제시하여 교사양성 교육과정에서 모의수업을 진행하는 대학 교수자의 수업개선에 도움을 주고자 실시되었다. 본 연구는 S시에 소재한 A대학교 유아교육과 4학년 학생 28명을 연구참여자로 하여 실시되었는데 연구 결과, 학생들은 유아교육전공교과와 관련된 다양한 모의수업을 통해 모의수업에 대한 이중적인 태도가 형성되었음을 알 수 있었다. 두 번의 현장실습을 통해, 예비유아교사들은 모의수업은 유아교육 현장에서 실제로 수업을 진행하기 위해서 없어서는 안 되는 중요한 실천과정으로 인식하고 있었으며, 지금까지 해 왔던 수업의 형태보다 더 철저한 준비와 현장성에 맞는 수업으로 진행되어야 함을 공감하고 요구하였다. 그러나 모의수업의 진행방법이나 운영 측면에서 유아를 대상으로 수업할 수 없는 현실적 조건들과 수업의 집중, 수업계획의 어려움 등은 모의수업에서 극복해야 할 문제점이자 어려운 점으로 제시되었다. 이러한 모의수업에 대한 갈등적 심정 속에서도 예비유아교사로서 학생들은 두 번의 현장실습을 통해 느낀 점을 토대로 현장 적응력을 높이기 위한 모의수업 발전방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study was carried out to give some suggestions to instructors participating in simulated instruction for early childhood teacher education curriculum by collecting and analyzing the reflective journals of pre-service early childhood teachers and their feelings during the four years of simulated instruction. In this study, the participants were 28 early childhood education senior college students from the Class of 2011 at a 4-year university in A city. The study found the formation of a twofold attitude for students for early childhood education curriculum lessons through a variety of simulated instruction. Through fieldwork, pre-service early childhood teachers have recognized that a simulated instruction is an indispensable and important practice course for actual lesson progress in the field of early childhood education, and it has been empathized and in demand for providing more thorough preparation and appropriate lessons than classes until now. But some difficulties that need to be overcome in the process and operation of simulated instruction are: trouble focusing in class, difficulty of creating an instruction plan or realistic conditions in which to teach young children. Despite these conflicts, students of pre-service early childhood teacher presented in the fieldwork that there is a need for simulated instruction to fit into the scene.
