국문 초록

본 연구는 진로진학상담교사가 갖추어야 할 직무역량을 도출하고 직무역량에 대한 요구분 석 결과를 제안하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 진로진학상담교사와 진로교육 전 문가의 역량을 제시한 국내외 문헌 분석과 설문을 통해 요구분석을 실시하였다. 관련 문헌분 석을 기반으로 역량리스트를 도출하고, 전문가 협의회를 통해 검증하였다. 설문조사에서 전국 의 중고등학교에 재직중인 진로진학상담교사 381명의 응답을 조대연(2009)이 제안한 우선순위 결정과정을 활용하여 분석하였다. 직무역량의 현재수준과 바람직한 수준의 차이를 파악하기 위해 t검정을 실시하였고, Borich와 The Locus for Focus Model 결과를 중복 확인하여 ‘최우 선 순위 역량군’과 ‘차우선순위 역량군’을 도출하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째,ﾠ문헌분석 결과 진로 이론 , 진로 검사 , 상담/의사소통 , 프로그램 개발 및 운영 , 교수-학습 , 평가 , 윤리성 , 다양성 , 전문성 등 총 14가지 역량이 도출되었고, 전문가 협의회를 거쳐 15개의 역 량명을 확정하였다. 둘째, 요구가 가장 높게 도출된 역량 3개, 즉 진로심리검사 , 진로진학 상담 및 의사소통 , 노동시장의 이해 가 최우선순위 요구역량으로 확인되었다. 셋째, ‘프로그 램개발 및 운영’, ‘전문성’, ‘진로진학 정보 분석과 활용 및 관리’, ‘유관기관 협력’, ‘테크놀로지 이해 및 활용’은 차순위 요구 역량으로 분류되었다. 이를 기반으로 몇 가지 함의점을 제안하 였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the list of job competencies for career counseling teachers and to explore need analysis of their job competencies. To address these purposes, this study conducted review of the related literature and used survey questionnaire for need analysis. Before surveying, a panel of experts reviewed the list of job competencies for career counseling teachers. 381 counseling teachers participated in this study and the process of need analysis was used according to Cho(2009)’s suggestion. The findings of this study were as following: first, the literature analysis showed that 15 competencies including career theory , career examination , counseling/communication , program development and operation , teaching–learning , evaluation , ethics and expertise were proposed. In addition, this study defined the concepts of 15 competencies. Second, 3 of the competencies were highly ranked based on Cho’s process including Borich’s educational need equation and Mink’s the Locus for Focus model. The three most important competencies were identified as career psychology test , career counseling and communication , and understanding of the labor market . Third, ‘program development and operation’, ‘understanding and using technology’, ‘expertise’, ‘collaboration with related institutions’, ‘analysis, application, and management of information related with career’ were ranked in second priorities. Based on these findings, this study suggested some implications.
