국문 초록

During the period of the Total War of Resistance, Koreans in China established various anti-Japanese newspapers and periodicals, participating in and supporting China’s War of Resistance Against Japan through cultural propaganda efforts. The Oriental Comrade was one of the most influential anti-Japanese publications founded by Koreans in China during this period. It was first published in Wuzhou, Guangxi Province, on January 15, 1939, under the editorship of Lee Doo-san. Due to Japanese aerial bombings, military advances, and socio-economic conditions during the war, The Oriental Comrade faced numerous challenges, including frequent relocation of its editorial office, financial constraints, irregular publication cycles, and difficulties in printing. In response to these issues, the publication implemented a series of measures to alleviate and improve its operational difficulties. Persisting under arduous conditions for more than three years, The Oriental Comrade actively engaged in anti-Japanese propaganda and promoted united resistance efforts. It exerted a broad influence across China and several Southeast Asian countries, gaining recognition from various anti-Japanese forces both within China and abroad. In summary, The Oriental Comrade exemplifies the significant role played by Koreans in China in supporting the Chinese War of Resistance through cultural means, and served as a bridge fostering mutual trust, communication, and solidarity between the Chinese and Korean peoples during this critical historical period.

영문 초록

全面抗战时期在华韩人创办多本反日报刊，通过文化宣传斗争的方式参加并支援中国的抗日战争。《东方战友》是全面抗战时期韩人在华创办的最具影响力的反日报刊之一，该刊于1939年1 月15日创刊于广西梧州，主编为李斗山。受日机轰炸、日军军事进攻和战时社会经济条件的影响，《东方战友》长期面临编辑部频繁迁址、经费窘迫、出版周期不稳定、杂志印刷困难等各种问题。 针对上述问题，《东方战友》通过一系列措施，缓解和改善了该刊所面临的困境。《东方战友》在 艰苦条件下坚持办刊3年有余，积极开展反日宣传和推动各方协同抗战，对中国及东南亚多国产生 了广泛的影响，得到了中国及海外反日力量等多方认可。总概而言，《东方战友》是全面抗战时期 在华韩人以文化斗争方式支援中国抗日战争的重要体现，构建了抗战时期中韩两民族之间互信互通 互助的桥梁。
