국문 초록

본 연구는 CCTV 다큐멘터리《삼방칠항》을 연구 대상으로 삼아, 얀 아스만의 문화기억 이론을 기반으로 지역 문화 기억을 재구성하여 국가 정체성을 구축하는 과정을체계적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석 결과, 다큐멘터리는 지역적 문화 기호를 국가적 문화 상징으로 전환함으로써 국민의 문화적 귀속감과 정체성을 효과적 으로 강화하는 전략을 구사하고 있음이 확인되었다. 특히 청대 과거시험의 재현과역사적 인물의 서사적 활용은 전통문화의 가치를 부각시키고 관객의 감정적 공감을이끌어내는 중요한 장치로 작용한다. 또한《삼방칠항》을 문화 교류의 중심지로 제시함으로써 중국 문화의 포용성과 다원성을 강조하며, 지역 문화가 국가 담론 속에서 재맥락화되는 과정을 구체적으로 보여준다. 이는 문화 부흥과 국가 정체성 형성이 상호작용 하는 메커니즘을 드러내고, 지역 문화 자원의 현대적 활용과 가치 재구성에 관한 학문적 시사점을 제공한다. 본 연구는 지역 문화의 보존과 전승, 국가적상징화에 기여할 수 있는 이론적·실천적 근거를 제시하며, 문화 자원의 활성화와 문화적 정체성 강화에 관한 후속 연구의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to systematically analyze how the CCTV documentary Sanfang Qixiang reconstructs regional cultural memory to build national identity, based on Jan Assmann’s theory of cultural memory. The analysis reveals that the documentary strategically transforms local cultural symbols into national cultural emblems, thereby effectively strengthening the audience’s sense of cultural belonging and identity. In particular, the reenactment of the imperial examination of the Qing Dynasty and the narrative use of historical figures function as important devices that highlight the value of traditional culture and evoke emotional resonance among viewers. Additionally, by presenting Sanfang Qixiang as a hub of cultural exchange, the documentary emphasizes the inclusiveness and diversity of Chinese culture and illustrates how regional culture is recontextualized within national discourse. This process demonstrates the mechanisms through which cultural revival and the formation of national identity interact, offering scholarly insights into the contemporary utilization and reconfiguration of regional cultural resources. This research provides theoretical and practical foundations that can contribute to the preservation, transmission, and national symbolization of local culture and serve as a basis for future studies on the activation of cultural assets and the reinforcement of cultural identity.
