일부 치위생(학)과 학생들의 임상실습 만족도가 치위생 전문직관에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비치과위생사인 교외 임상실습을 경험한 일부 치위생(학)과 학생 205명을 대상으로 임상실습 만족도가 전문직 직업관에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 치위생 임상실습 교육 시행 방안 마련과 긍정적인 전문직관 형성을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 시행하였다. 주요 변수로는 연구 대상자의 일반적인 특성, 임상실습 만족도와 치위생 전문직관으로 설정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS를 활용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 일반적 특성 중 학년 전공만족도, 성적이 임상실습 만족도 중 하위 영역별로는 실습교과만족도, 실습내용만족도, 실습시간만족도, 실습평가만족도 등이 치위생 전문직관에 영향을 주는 유의한 예측 변수로 확인되었다. 이는 치위생과 교육과정에서 임상실습의 질적 향상이 학생들의 전문직관 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted in 205 dental hygiene students who have experienced suburban clinical practice, a preliminary dental hygienist, to understand the effect of satisfaction with clinical practice on professional occupation and to use it as basic data for preparing a plan to implement dental hygiene clinical practice education and forming a positive professional intuition. The main variables were set as the general characteristics of the study subjects, satisfaction with clinical practice, and dental hygiene professional intuition. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted on the collected data using SPSS. As a result of the study, among the general characteristics, satisfaction with the training subject, satisfaction with the training content, satisfaction with the training time, and satisfaction with the training evaluation among the satisfaction with clinical practice by grade, major, and sub-area were identified as significant predictors that affect the dental hygiene profession. This suggests that the improvement of the quality of clinical practice in the dental hygiene curriculum can have a positive effect on the formation of students' professional intuition.
