국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구는 다문화가정 학생들의 읽기 중재 프로그램에 대한 메타분석을 실시하여 전체 효과크기 및 효과크기에 영향을 준 조절변인을 밝힘으로써 다문화 학생들을 위한 읽기 지도를 위한 증거기반실제를 마련하고자 한다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 2014년부터 2025년 3월까지 학술지 및 학위논문 중 집단실험설계연구 19편의 최종 분석대상 논문을 선정하였으며, 82개의 효과크기를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 다문화가정 학생들의 읽기 중재프로그램의 평균 효과크기는 0.6728로 중간 효과크기를 보였다. 연구대상의 특성 중 학년에 따른 차이가 있었으며, 중재특성 변인에서는 중재방법, 중재영역, 매체활용 여부에 따른 차이가 있었다. 중재실시 변인에서는 중재자와 중재충실도에 따른 차이가 유의미하였다. 결론: 연구결과를 바탕으로 다문화가정 학생들의 읽기능력 향상을 위한 증거기반실제를 적용할 때의 고려사항 및 시사점 등에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study conducted a meta-analysis of reading intervention programs for students of multicultural families to identify the overall effect size and the moderating variables that influenced the effect size to provide evidence-based practices for reading instruction for multicultural students. Methods: Nineteen randomized controlled trials were selected from journals and dissertations published between 2014 and March 2025, and 82 effect sizes were analyzed. Results: The average effect size of reading intervention programs for students of multicultural families was 0.6728, which is a moderate effect size. Among the characteristics of the study subjects, there were differences by grade level, and in terms of intervention variables, there were differences by intervention method, intervention area, and whether or not to use media. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, This study discussed the considerations and implications of applying evidence-based practices to improve the reading skills of students of multicultural families.
