국문 초록

스피노자의 심신론은 질료형상론, 관념론, 부수현상론, 평행론, 표상론 등으로 해석되어 왔다. 이에 본 논문의 목적은 심신 관계에 대한 스피노자의 진정한 생각을 밝히는 데 있다. 따라서 스피노자에 대한 다양한 해석의 관점 을 먼저 살펴보고, 그 해석들로 인해 발생하는 스피노자 철학체계 내에서의 문제점을 지적하여 스피노자의 심신 이론으로 적용하기에는 부족하다는 결 론을 내렸다. 스피노자의 해석에서 가장 중요한 점은 다른 철학자에 대한 해 석과 마찬가지로 그의 진정한 사고의 핵심과 의도를 찾는 것이다. 스피노자 는 질료형상론, 관념론, 부수현상론, 평행론, 표상론을 주장하려고 한 것이 아니라, 오히려 이러한 이론의 한계를 극복하여 더 발전된 이론을 제시하고 자 했다. 이처럼 스피노자 심신론의 해석에 대한 비판으로부터 우리는 본 논 문에서 제안하는 개별자 이중측면론과 같은 새로운 해석이 필요하게 되었 다.

영문 초록

Spinoza's mind-body theory has been interpreted as hylomorphism, idealism, epiphenomenalism, parallelism, and representationalism. Thus my purpose in this paper is to unravel Spinoza's real thoughts behind his arguments on the relationship between the body and the mind. For this purpose, I examined their perspectives on Spinoza and discussed some of the problems which arise from their interpretations and the inadequacies of applying them to Spinoza's theory. The most important point in the interpretation of Spinoza, as in the interpretation of any philosopher, is trying to find his real tendency and thinking. Spinoza's real tendency is not arguing hylomorphism, idealism, epiphenomenalism, parallelism or representationalism, but overcoming the limitations of those theories. From the criticism of the interpretations, we need more advanced interpretations, that is suggested token double aspect theory in this paper.
