국문 초록

본 연구는 ChatGPT를 활용한 프로젝트 수업 운영 사례와 그 효과를 분석하고, ChatGPT가 교수자보조 도구로 활용될 가능성을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2024년 1학기 서울 소재 대학교에서 개설된 교양 과목 ‘대학생의 자기주도적 학습전략’을 대상으로 ChatGPT를 활용한 프로젝트 수업을설계하고 운영하였다. 학습자들은 ChatGPT를 활용하여 발표 주제를 선정하고, 자료를 조사하며, 발표문을 작성하고, 최종 발표를 수행하는 과정을 거쳤다. ChatGPT 활용 효과를 검증하기 위해 설문조사와프로젝트 결과물에 대한 동료 평가를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 학습자들은 ChatGPT를 통해 발표 내용구성, 자료 조사, 발표문 작성, 내용 정교화, 아이디어 도출 등에서 도움을 받았으며, 동료 평가에서도발표 구조 및 내용의 완성도가 높은 평가를 받았다. 이는 ChatGPT가 교수자를 보조하여 정보 탐색및 발표 구성 과정에서 실질적인 지원을 제공할 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 ChatGPT가 교수자의보조 도구로서 PBL의 효과성을 높이는 데 기여할 가능성을 제시하며, 향후 인공지능을 활용한 교육모델의 설계 및 운영 방안을 탐색하는 데 중요한 기초 자료를 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze a project-based learning (PBL) case utilizing ChatGPT and explore its potential as an instructional support tool. To this end, a PBL course integrating ChatGPT was designed and implemented in the general education course titled ‘Self-Directed Learning Strategies for University Students’ at a university in Seoul during the first semester of 2024. Throughout the course, students used ChatGPT to select presentation topics, conduct research, draft scripts, and deliver their final presentations. To evaluate the effectiveness of ChatGPT integration, a survey was conducted and peer evaluations of project outcomes were analyzed. The findings indicate that students benefited from ChatGPT in various aspects, including organizing presentation content, gathering information, drafting scripts, refining arguments, and generating ideas. Additionally, peer evaluations revealed high ratings for the completeness and coherence of the presentations. These results suggest that ChatGPT can serve as an effective instructional aid by supporting students in the processes of information retrieval and presentation development. This study highlights the potential of ChatGPT to enhance the effectiveness of PBL and offers foundational insights for the design and implementation of AI-assisted educational models.
