국문 초록

목적: 본 연구의 목적은 생태학적 비평에 기반한 문학 소통 과정을 교육적으로 설계하고, 그 의의를 탐색하는 데 있다. 생태학적 비평은 브론펜브레너의 생태학적 체계이론을 이론적 기반으로 하며, 독자·텍스트·동료 독자·사회문화적 맥락이 유기적으로 상호작용하는 다층적 소통 구조를 전제로 한다. 방법: 문학 감상 교육에 영향을 미친 주요 비평 이론들을 교육적 관점에서 재검토하여, 사회문화적 맥락을 반영한 문학 소통의 필요성을 확인한다. 이어 생태학적 체계 이론을 바탕으로 문학 소통의 구조를 미시체계, 중간체계, 외부체계, 거시체계로 정립하고, 이를 토대로 문학 수업을 ‘개별 독해 → 상호작용적 토론 → 공동 비평의 발전 → 창의적 산출 및 실천적 적용’의 네 단계로 구안한다. 결과: 생태학적 비평에 기반한 문학 소통은 학습자가 다층적 맥락 속에서 능동적으로 의미를 구성하고 확장해 가는 감상 경험을 가능하게 한다. 이러한 감상은 개인적 해석을 넘어 사회문화적 맥락과의 연계를 통해 더욱 심화되고, 공동체적 차원의 성찰로 발전되는 과정을 보여준다. 결론: 학습자의 문학 감상이 공동체적 소통을 통해 사회적 성찰과 창의적·실천적 삶의 맥락으로 확장되기 위해서는, 생태학적 비평에 기반한 문학 소통 구조의 교육적 실천이 적극적으로 이루어져야 한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aims to design a literary communication process grounded in ecological criticism and to explore its educational significance. Ecological criticism is theoretically based on Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems theory and presupposes a multilayered structure of communication in which the reader, text, peer readers, and sociocultural contexts interact organically. Methods: Major literary criticism theories that have influenced literary appreciation education are reexamined from an educational perspective to affirm the need for literary communication that reflects sociocultural contexts. Based on ecological systems theory, the structure of literary communication is conceptualized through the microsystem, mesosystem, exosystem, and macrosystem. Accordingly, a four-stage instructional model is proposed: individual reading → interactive discussion → development of collaborative criticism → creative production and practical application. Results: Literary communication grounded in ecological criticism enables learners to actively construct and expand meaning within multilayered contexts. This approach deepens literary appreciation by moving beyond individual interpretation and fostering connections with broader sociocultural frame- works, ultimately leading to communal reflection. Conclusion: For students’ literary appreciation to develop into a process of social reflection and creative, practical engagement through communal communication, it is essential to actively implement literary communication structures based on ecological criticism in educational settings.
