국문 초록

목적: 이 연구는 2022 개정 초등학교1∼2학년군 국어교과서를 중심으로 현장적합성에 관한 만족도를 조사해 개선 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 방법: 새 교과서의 특징을 탐구해 설문 문항을 개발하였고 1, 2학년 지도 경험이 있는 초등학교 교사 129명, 학생 63명을 대상으로 설문하였다. 결과: 새 교과서에 대한 교사의 만족도와 학생의 만족도는 전반적으로 ‘매우 높음’으로 나타났다. 교과서의 장점으로 체계적인 한글 학습, 다양한 학습 자료 활용, 적절한 난이도와 학습 분량, 학생 중심 활동 강화 의견이 있었고, 교과서의 개선점으로는 수준별 학습 자료 부족, 학습 분량 및 난이도 조정 필요, 자기주도학습의 실효성, 쓰기 과제와 쓰기 활동의 과다 의견이 나타났다. 결론: 새 교과서의 문제점을 지속적으로 점검해 개선 방향을 모색해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aimed to explore ways to improve the 2022 revised Korean language textbooks for Grades 1 and 2 in elementary school by investigating user satisfaction regarding their field applicability. Methods: The characteristics of the new textbooks were examined to develop survey questions. A total of 129 elementary school teachers with experience teaching first and second grade and 63 students participated in the survey. Results: Both teachers and students reported an overall satisfaction level of “very high” with the new textbooks. The strengths identified included a systematic approach to Hangeul learning, the utilization of diverse learning materials, appropriate difficulty levels and learning volume, and an emphasis on student-centered activities. However, areas for improvement were also noted, such as the lack of differentiated learning materials, the need for adjustments in learning volume and difficulty, concerns regarding the effectiveness of self-directed learning, and an excessive number of writing tasks and activities. Conclusion: Continuous evaluation of the new textbooks is necessary to identify and address their limitations, ensuring ongoing improvement.
