유치원교사와 보육교사 간의 유아교사 핵심역량에대한 인식과 교육요구도 차이분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유치원교사와 보육교사를 대상으로 미래유아교육을 위해 요구되는 유아교사의 핵심역량에 대한 인식과 교육요구도에 차이가 있는지를 분석하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 광주광역시와 전남지역에 소재한 유아교육기관의 유치원 교사 74명과 어린이집 교사 64명 총138명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 유아교사의 핵심역량에 대한 인식을 조사하여 중요도-실행도 차이 분석, The Locus Focus모델을 활용하여 교육요구도를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유치원교사와 보육교사는 모두 핵심역량의 중요도에 비해 실행 수준은 낮다고 인식하였다. 둘째, 유치원교사와 보육교사는 공통적으로 영유아 이해 및 지도, 교직인성과 관련된 핵심역량에 대한교육요구도가 높았다. 그 외에 유치원교사는 영유아 교육과정 운영 및 평가와 교사 전문성 개발에보다 우선순위를 둔 반면, 보육교사는 유아교육과정을 실행하는 역량(놀이지원, 교수학습과정)보다는 교직인성과 학급경영에 우선순위를 두는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과에 근거하여 유보통합을 위한 통합유아교사 양성 및 교육과정 개발을 위한 교육적 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze whether there is a difference in perceptionand educational needs of early childhood teachers about the core competencies required for future early childhood education for kindergarten teachers and childcare teachers. To this end,a total of 138 kindergarten teachers and 64 daycare center teachers from early childhoodeducation institutions located in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do were surveyed to analyze thedifference in importance-performance and educational needs using the locus for focus model. The results are as follows. First, both kindergarten teachers and childcare teachers recognizedthat the level of implementation was lower than the importance of core competencies. Second,kindergarten teachers and childcare teachers had high educational needs for core competenciesrelated to infant understanding and guidance and teaching personality traits. In addition,kindergarten teachers prioritized the operation and evaluation of infant curriculum and teacherprofessional development, while childcare teachers prioritized teaching personality and classmanagement rather than the ability to implement early childhood curriculum (play support,teaching and learning process). Based on the above research results, educational implicationsfor fostering integrated early childhood teachers and developing a curriculum for retentionintegration were proposed
