유치원 교사의 통합교육과 협력활동에 대한 태도 및 자질에 대한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 유아교사들의 통합교육에 대한 신념은 어떠하며 협력 팀을 기반으로 통합교육을 운영하는데 필요한 자질이나 태도를 갖추고 있는지 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 석사 과정 이상의 학력을 가진 교사들이 학사 혹은 준학사 교사들보다 그리고 12년 이상의 교육경력을 가진 교사들이 8년 미만 혹은 4년 미만 경력의 교사들보다 통합교육에 대한 보다 적극적이고 긍정적인 신념을 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 교사들의 학력이나 교육경력에 따른 협력교수에 대한 태도의 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 셋째, 석사과정 이상의 학력을 가진 교사가 학사나 준학사 교사들보다 자신의 협력적 자질에 대해 높게 평가하였으며 8년 이상의 교육 경험이 많은 교사들이 4년 미만의 교육경력을 가진 교사들보다 협력적 자질에 대해 자신을 더 높게 평가하는 경향이 있었다. 넷째, 교사들의 학력에 따른 의사소통행동의 자기 평가에는 차이가 발견되지 않았으나 12년 이상의 교육경력을 가진 교사들이 8년 이상-12년 미만의 교육경력을 가진 교사들에 비해 자신의 상호작용적 의사소통 행동을 높게 평가하였다. 다섯째, 유아교사들의 통합교육신념은 교사들의 협력교수에 대한 태도와 미미한 정도의 관련성이 있었으나 통합에 대한 신념과 협력적 자질이나 상호작용적 의사소통 행동과는 관련성이 없는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study explored kindergarten teachers' belief of inclusive early childhood education, their attitudes toward co-teaching, self-assessment about their own competencies of collaboration, and communication behaviors and relationship between these. A total of 200 early childhood teachers were participated in this study. The teachers responded to four kinds of surveys. The results of the study were summarized as follows: Fist, kindergarten teachers with master's degree showed more positive beliefs about early childhood inclusion than teachers with bachelor's degree. Teachers who taught young children more than 12 years had more positive beliefs about early childhood inclusion than teachers who taught young children less than 8 years. Second, teacher's attitudes toward co-teaching were not different significantly by teachers' teaching experiences and their degree levels. Third, the teachers with master's degree assessed them selves to have higher competencies for collaboration than teachers with bachelor's degree. Teachers who taught young children more than 8 years assessed them selves to have higher competencies for collaboration than teachers who taught young children less than 4 years. Fourth, teachers' self-assessment about their own communication behaviors were not different significantly by their degree level. However, teachers who taught young children more than 12 years assessed themselves to have more efficient communication behaviors than the teachers who taught young children less than 8 years.
