시각장애학교의 방과후학교 운영 실태에 대한 학생 및 학부모 인식 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 전국 시각장애학교의 방과후학교에 대한 운영 실태와 학생과 학부모의 인식을 파악하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 학생 133명과 학부모 87명 총 229명이 응답한 설문지를 빈도 분석과 배경변인에 따른 차이 검증으로 결과를 처리하였다. 방과후학교의 운영 실태에 있어서 현재 전국의 시각장애학교에서는 총 128개의 다양한 프로그램이 진행되고 있으며 평균 73%이상의 학생이 28주에서 40주까지 참여하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 인식 분석은 운영절차와 참여성과;프로그램 만족도;활성화 필요성의 하위영역으로 나뉘어 분석되었다. 학생의 인식 차이는 운영절차 하위영역에서 저시력보다는 전맹 학생 집단이;만족도에서는 고등학교 집단보다 초‧중학교 학생의 집단이;참여성과에서는 전맹학생 집단이나 초중학교 학생 집단이 유의미하게 높은 수준을 보였다. 부모의 인식은 자녀들의 배경변인에 따라 어떤 하위영역에서도 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았으나 모든 하위영역에서 인식에 대한 응답의 평균은 높은 수준이었다. 시각장애학교 방과후학교의 성공적인 운영을 위하여 시각장애 특성을 고려한 프로그램의 마련과 우수한 강사진의 편성;재원의 확보 및 유관기관과의 협력관계 등 활성화 방안을 고려해야 한다는 결론을 얻었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the status of the operation of the after school in the schools for the blind and the perception of students and their parents. With the questionnaire to 133 students;and 87 parents;229 in total;the results are produced from frequency-analysis and t-test based on background- variables. In terms of operation of after-school;a total of 128 different programs are in progress and it shows that more than the average 73 percent of the students are participating in the schools for the blind and the programs are in operation for 28 to 40 weeks. The analysis of the perceptions of the after school participants is subdivided into the status of involvement;the operation procedures;satisfaction of program and activation needs. In difference of perception according to student's sex;participation period;the degree of vision loss;and level of school-class variables;the blind group show significantly higher level in managing status sub-category than the low vision group;the elementary-middle school student group higher than the high school students in satisfaction sub-category;the total blind group and the elementary-middle school students group higher in participant performance. Parents' perception which is depending on the children's background variables revealed no significant difference in all sub-category. In all sub-category the average level of the respond to perception corresponds to almost 'Agree'.
