중·고등학교 일반교사들이 인식하는 장애학생들을 위한 좋은 수업의 수행필요성과 수행역량 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 149명의 중·고등학교 일반교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 교사들이 인식하는 통합교육 환경 속 장애학생들을 위한 좋은 수업의 특징에 대한 수행필요성과 실제 수행역량 정도의 차이를 살펴보고, 요구도 분석을 통해서 수행노력이 요구되는 특징을 분석하였다. 또한 주요 교사변인에 따라 결과의 차이를 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 장애학생들을 위한 좋은 수업 특징의 수행필요성에 비해 실제 수행역량에 대한 중·고등학교 일반교사들의 인식정도가 상대적으로 낮았고, 교사변인에 따라 고등학교 교사들, 교사연수와 수업이수의 경험이 없는 교사들에 비해 중학교 교사들, 교사연수와 수업이수의 경험이 있는 교사들의 수행역량 인식정도가 상대적으로 높아 좋은 수업의 수행필요성과 실제 수행역량의 평균차이가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 요구도 분석결과, 중·고등학교 일반교사들은 관계관점, 기능교육과정과 기초학습과정 관련 수업내용 제공, 다양한 교육방법과 수업자료의 활용, 물리적 환경 고려, 전이, 일반화에 기초한 평가제공 등은 실제 수행역량이 수행필요성에 비해 가장 낮아 수행을 위한 많은 노력이 요구되는 것으로 분석되었다. 교사변인에 따른 요구도 분석결과의 차이는 거의 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과를 통한 논의점과 차후 연구의 방향 등이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

This study surveyed 149 secondary general education teachers and investigated the differences of their require and present performance levels of the features of good instruction for students with disabilities and identified the features of good instruction that needed more efforts to be performed by the teachers based on the analysis of needs assessment. Also, this study investigated any differences in those results based on the teachers' main background factors. The results of this study showed that the teachers’ present performance levels were relatively low compared with their require performance levels for all features of good instruction for students with disabilities. In addition, the middle-school teachers and teachers who experienced the teacher-training and classes related with students with disabilities had relatively higher present performance levels so that the differences of their require performance levels and present performance levels were quite low. Based on the analysis of neeeds assessment, several features of good instruction, such as having closed relationship, providing instructions for functional skills and basic academic learning, providing various instructional methods and materials, managing environments with appropriate facilities, and evaluating student's adaptation abilities, needed more efforts to be performed by the teachers. Based on these results, discussion and direction for feature studies were provided.
