장애 유아 교육과정 편성 및 실행에 대한 단설 유치원 특수교사의 인식에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 장애 유아 교육과정의 편성 및 실행에 대한 단설 유치원 특수학급 교사의 인식을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 단설 유치원 특수학급에서 2년 이상 근무했던 경험이 있는 10명의 유아특수교사를 대상으로 장애 유아 교육과정의 편성 및 운영에 관련한 실태 및 요구에 대해 물어보는 개별 면담을 실시하였다. 개별 대상자당 1시간 30분에서 2시간 정도의 면담 시간이 소요되었으며, 면담자료는 모두 녹음이 되고 전사되었다. 전사된 결과를 연속적 비교법에 의해서 분석한 결과, 역할과 협력에 대한 인식, 교육과정의 편성, 교육과정의 운영, 지원 요구라는 4개의 주제와 그에 따른 16개의 부주제가 도출되었다. 도출된 각 주제를 중심으로, 유아 교육과정에 장애 유아 개별화 교육 프로그램을 효율적으로 통합시키기 위한 다양한 지원 방안들에 대해 논의하였다. 마지막으로 연구의 제한점 및 향후 연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the perception of special educators at public independent kindergartens regarding the compilation and management of curricula for children with disabilities. For this purpose, 10 early childhood special educators who had at least two years of experience at a public independent kindergarten were individually interviewed regarding the compilation and management of curricula for young children with disabilities. The individual interviews were conducted for one and half hours to two hours, and all interview data were recorded and transcribed. By analyzing the transcribed data through a constant comparative method not only four themes, that is perception of roles and attitudes, compilation of the curriculum, management of the curriculum, and supporting the needs of the curriculum, but also 16 subthemes emerged. Based on the uncovered themes, various means of support for those who seek to integrate individualized education programs for young children with disabilities into early childhood education were discussed. Finally, the limitations of this study and future directions for research in this area are presented
