특수학교 방과후학교 외부강사가 겪는 어려움

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 특수학교 방과후학교의 중등 수업을 담당하는 외부강사들이 겪는 어려움을 그들의 입장에서 기술하고 심층적으로 해석하여, 방과후학교 강사제도의 효율적 운영과 교육적 성과를 제고하는데 도움이 될 만한 기초정보를 제공하는데 있다. 연구 참여자는 특수학교 방과후학교의 중등수업담당 외부강사 8명이었으며, 현상학적 연구방법을 통하여 3개의 상위범주, 7개의 하위범주, 21개의 의미단위가 도출되었다. 연구 결과, 특수학교 방과후학교 강사가 겪는 어려움은 ‘장애학생지도의 명암: 부담과 보람’, ‘직업인으로서의 방과후학교 강사: 지나치게 열악한 처우’, ‘방과후학교의 발전방안: 방과후학교도 “학교”다’의 3개 상위 범주로 도출되었다. 7개의 하위범주로는 ‘장애와 안전사고에 대한 부담감’, ‘작지만 큰 교육적 도전과 보람’, ‘강사료와 재료비 책정의 개선 필요’, ‘능력에 비해 열악한 고용실태’, ‘방과후학교 운영체제와 교실환경의 어려움’, ‘방과후학교 운영의 발전방안’, ‘방과후학교지원센터의 특수교육기관 지원필요’가 도출되었다. 연구결과를 토대로 특수학교 방과후학교의 발전 방안 및 후속연구를 위하여 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study tried to investigate the measure for the improvement and development of the after school programs based on the analysis of the experience and meaning of the after-school program instructors in special education school, and furthermore to offer fundamental data to increase the quality of the after-school education of all. For the data, the in-depth interviews of eight instructors were conducted who teach at the after-school programs for secondary education in special education school. The data was analyzed through phenomenological method The results of this study are as follows. At first, the instructors experienced the difficulties but felt it worthy as teaching students with disabilities was a pleasant work as well as a burdening task. Secondly, as a profession, the instructors were found that they were given an inadequate treatment compared with what they worked for the class. Thirdly, the instructors had a variety of opinions on the development of the after-school programs. This thesis suggests a follow-up study of the development plan of the operation of the after-school programs and the support plan for the instructors.
