국문 초록

교육과정의 적합성에 대한 지금까지의 연구는 주로 상관적 관찰법을 활용한 사후적 분석이었다. 이러한 분석들은 교육과정의 개발과정에서 그 적합성을 예측하지 못한다는 점에서 한계를 가지고 있었다. 본 연구는 2015년 교육과정 개정에 앞서 교육과정의 성취기준과 적합성의 예측적 관계를 밝히고자 진행되었다. 이를 위해 연구방법은 행위자 기반 모형을 사용하였다. 지금까지의 연구에서 교육과정 적합성 관련 변인으로 지목되었던 교육과정의 성취기준과 내용기준, 특수교사와 청각장애학생의 능력을 독립변인으로 하였다. 종속변인이 되는 교육과정의 적합성은 청각장애와 일반학생의 각각의 성취수준을 통해 간접적으로 측정하였다. 결과와 논의를 통하여 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반적으로 공통교육과정의 내용기준은 높을수록, 수행기준은 중간 수준에서 가장 높은 적합성을 보인다. 그러나 청각장애학생은 적합한 수준의 수행기준이 보다 낮아진다. 둘째, 특수교사의 능력은 이러한 관계에 대해 조절효과를 갖는다. 그러나 적합한 수행기준의 수준에 있어 청각장애학생과 가청학생 사이의 간극을 줄일 수는 없다.

영문 초록

The preceding studies on curriculum appropriacy have made use of posteriori correlation observations such as an interview design. This tradition has placed a limit on the existing understandings in terms of the predictive power. Catching up with the curriculum amendment in near future, the current study is intended to overcome the limitation. Agent-based model composed of student, teacher and curriculum agent was mobilized. The model was designed to take the achievement standards(i.e., content and performance standard) and the capacity of the student and the teacher as its independent variables, and to calculated the curriculum appropriacy via resulted achievement level of Deaf student and non-deaf student. Resultingly, this study discovered the followings. First, ceteris paribus, Common Education curriculum shows optimal appropriacy when its content standard is high but performance standard is moderate, while the moderate level is lower for Deaf student. Second, the teaching ability has moderating effect on this relationship. Still it cannot resolve the appropriacy difference between Deaf student and non-deaf student.
