스마트 러닝 기반의 언어경험접근법이 중등도 지적장애학생의 직무 관련 어휘력과 자기 주도적 학습능력에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 특수학교의 고등학교 과정 3학년에 재학 중인 중등도 지적장애학생 4명을 대상으로, 스마트 러닝 기반의 언어경험접근법이 중등도 지적장애학생들의 직무 관련 어휘력과 자기 주도적인 학습능력에 미치는 효과에 대하여 검증하였다. 연구방법은 첫 번째 종속변인인 직무 관련 어휘력의 경우에는 대상자간 중다 간헐 기초선 설계를 적용하였고, 두 번째 종속변인인 자기 주도적 학습능력의 효과 검증은 단일집단 사전-사후 설계를 적용하였다. 연구결과 중등도 지적장애학생들의 직무 관련 어휘력은 증가하였으며 이는 중재 이후에도 유지되었다. 그리고 습득된 어휘의 품사별 빈도 분석을 통해 구체명사-추상명사-동사의 순으로 직무 관련 어휘가 습득되었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 자기 주도적 학습능력 진단척도를 활용하여 평정한 중등도 지적장애학생의 자기 주도적 학습능력은 중재 이전보다 유의미하게 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 필수 직무 지식이라고 할 수 있는 직무 관련 어휘와 자기 주도적 학습능력을 동시에 신장시킬 수 있는 효과적인 중재 전략으로서 스마트 러닝과 언어경험접근법이라는 전통적인 특수교육 교수학습 기법의 접목을 시도해보았다는 점에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

his study verified the effects of language experience approach based smart learning on job-related vocabulary abilities and self-directed learning abilities of students with moderate intellectual disabilities. Four students with moderate intellectual disabilities in third grade of high school course at special school participated in this experiment. Vocabulary learning program applied with language experience approach based smart learning was designed based on the contents of high school vocation studies in special school curriculum. As for the methodology, this experiment was carried out based on multiple probe design across subject of 3 stages: base line, intervention and maintenance. And, in case of verification about self-directed learning abilities, one-group pretest-posttest design was used. As a result, the students with moderate intellectual disabilities showed increase in job-related vocabulary abilities and self-directed learning abilities compared to the base line level or pretest level. Also, it was found that their job-related vocabulary abilities and self-directed learning abilities remained at the same level after intervention. Therefore this study has an important meaning in that it applies language experience approach based on smart learning as a detailed practice to improve basic job-related vocabulary and self-directed learning abilities for students with moderate intellectual disabilities.
