국문 초록

본 연구는 대덕연구개발특구내 정부출연연구기관에서 기술을 도입한 기업을 대상으로 도입기술의 기술적 속성;기업의 흡수능력;제품/공정 혁신;수출성과 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 기술적 속성이 제품/공정 혁신에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 기업의 흡수능력이 조절하는 효과를 분석하였다. 이러한 관계를 분석하기 위해 대덕연구개발특구내 정부출연연구기관에서 기술을 이전 받은 기업을 대상으로 2014년 1월 2일부터 약 2주간 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구는 PLS(Partial Least Square)분석 방법을 활용하여 수집된 자료를 토대로 연구모형을 검증하였다. 실증결과;도입기술의 기술적 속성이 우수할수록 제품/공정 혁신에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기업의 흡수능력이 높을수록 제품/공정 혁신에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 도입기술의 기술적 속성이 제품/공정 혁신에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 기업의 흡수능력이 조절하는 효과가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 제품/공정 혁신은 기업의 수출성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기업의 흡수능력이 제품/공정 혁신에 독립적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미치기도 하지만 기술적 속성과 상호작용을 통해 제품/공정 혁신에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 관계를 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the question of how the technologies derived from Government-funded Research Institutes (GRI) in Daedeok Innopolis affect firms’ export performances;especially focusing on attempting to find the role of firms’ competence—technology absorption—to lead to their production/process innovations that play crucial role in enhancing their sustainable competitive advantage;using survey data. The survey was conducted for tow weeks;January 2-15;2014. PLS is used to test the relationships. The commonality found in the results of the study is that high evaluation of technology introduced from GRI has a positive effect on firm’s product/process innovation;and that the innovation leads to increase in its export performance. The study also finds a solid evidence that firm’s technology absorption capacity moderates the relationship between the introduced technology and its product/process innovation;indicating that the technology absorption capacity used as moderating variable positively affects its product/process innovation. Some academic contributions and policy implications based on the results of this research are suggested.
