아동 수면공간과 환경심리 간의 상관관계에 관한 연구

국문 초록

오늘날 아동의 수면 시간 감소에 따른 수면부족 현상이 사회적 문제가 대두되고 있으며, 과거부터 수면에 대한 환경적 요인을 해결을 하고자 하는 연구가 계속 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 아동의 수면 문제 중 수면공간에 대한 요인별 상관관계를 분석하여 요인별 디자인 방향을 모색하는 것을 목표로 한다. 연구 대상은 국내 7~12세 아동의 독립 수면 공간으로 침대의 높이, 조명의 색상, 벽면의 색상, 수면 광원, 공간의 면적, 수면 유도 방식을 변수로 K-CSHQ 설문을 활용하여 분석을 진행하였다. 평가의 변수를 정량적으로 분석하여 수면 저항감이 수면에 가장 높은 관계가 있음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 다음으로는 수면불안 요인에서 블루라이트를 발생시키는 영상매체가 관계가 높음을 확인할 수 있다. 이러한 세분화된 연구의 유형별 결과를 통해서 수면 공간 항목과 수면 문제에 대한 환경심리적 요인과의 상관관계 연구 결과를 통해서 수면공간의 디자인에 있어서 방향을 설정할 수 있는 지침으로 활용되기를 바란다.

영문 초록

Nowadays, the reduction of the sleeping time among children that caused sleep deprivation has become a social problem. Meanwhile there are ongoing research regarding the factors of the sleeping environment. This research aims to analyze the correlation between the factors of the children’s sleeping problems with the sleeping space, so as to explore the design directions of respective factors. The object of the research is the independent sleeping space of Korean children aged 7-12. Using the height of the bed, the color of the lights, the color of the walls, the light source, the space area and the sleep-inducing method as the variables; and the K-CSHQ scale for analysis. Through quantitative analysis of the evaluation variables, it can be first confirmed that sleep resistance has the highest correlation with the sleep. Second, it is confirmed that there is a higher correlation between the blue-light images’ media and the sleep anxiety. It is hoped that by researching different kinds of subdivisions, guidance can be made on the correlation of sleeping space with environmental psychological factors that caused sleep deprivation and set the design specification directions on the sleeping space accordingly.
