국문 초록

이 연구에서는 자문화기술지 연구방법을 활용하여 특수학교 전공과 교과 운영에 참여한 교사의 경험을 내부자적인 관점에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 연구자의 개인기억자료와 교단일기 등의 질적 자료를 수집하였고, 실용적 절충주의에 기초한 포괄적 분석절차를 활용하여 핵심범주(3개)와 하위범주(6개)를 생성하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 연구자는 전공과 교과 운영에 처음으로 참여하였을 때 막막함을 느꼈지만, 교육과정 재구성과 역할극을 활용한 수업실천으로 이를 해결하였다. 둘째, 학교기업 사업종목으로 선정된 교과를 운영한 연구자는 교육목표와 수익창출 동시에 추구해야만 하는 상황에 혼란스러웠으나 새로운 교과 운영에 대한 도전, 기업의 사회공헌활동과 연계, 주제중심 교육과정 재구성으로 편견에 직면하며 이를 극복하였다. 셋째, 연구자는 자립생활교육과 직업교육이라는 교육목표를 달성하기 위해 개별 교과 운영의 틀에서 벗어나 동료교사와 협력을 통하여 학생 중심의 진로 및 직업교육을 실천하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 향후 발달장애 특수학교의 전공과 교과 운영에 대한 제고와 대안적 관점을 모색하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the experiences of teachers who participated in post-secondary program for vocational education at special schools and curriculum management from the insider perspective by utilizing the auto-ethnography method. This study collected qualitative data such as researcher’s personal memory and teacher’s diary, and generated main categories (3) and subcategories (6) by using practical eclecticism-based comprehensive analytical procedures First, the researcher felt perplexed when they first participated in course management of their major, but soon solved the issue with class restructuring and role play. Second, the researcher who managed the curriculum selected as the school enterprise’s business, felt confused in a situation where they had to pursue both the educational goals and the profit creation at the same time. However, the researcher was able to overcome the prejudice by challenging new curriculum management, linking it with corporate social contribution activities, and rebuilding the subject-based curriculum. Third, in order to achieve the educational goals of independent living training and vocational rehabilitation training, the researcher carried out student-centered career and vocational education in cooperation with fellow teachers, stepping out of the individual subject-oriented framework. The results of this study can be used as basic data to help make improvement and explore alternative perspectives for the post-secondary program for vocational education and curriculum management for Developmental Disabilities Special School.
