초등교사의 창의적 수업 경험 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 근거이론 접근을 통해 초등교사의 창의적 수업경험을 심층적으로 탐색하여 창의적 수업경험의 본질을 도출하고, 각 개념들 간의 관계를 확인해서 창의적 수업의 특징과 창의적 수업경험의 형성 과정을 파악하는 것이었다. 이러한 목적에 따라, 연구참여자로는 수업 개선 연구와 교육력 제고 참여, 수업 공개 등으로 창의적 수업을 하는 것으로 평가받은 교사 7인을 선정하여 심층면접을 실시하였고, Strauss와 Corbin의 근거이론 방법인 개방코딩, 축코딩, 선택코딩으로 분석하였다. 분석을 통해 도출된 핵심 범주는 ‘지속적인 배움과 성찰을 통한 창의적 교수자로 서기’였다. 이론적 모형인 깔때기 모형을 살펴보면, 외부강의, 개인적 경험, 멘토나 동료교사의 수업 공개 등에 의해 지속적인 배움이 일어나고, 학급 담임이나 업무의 힘겨움, 사회적 분위기 등의 변화는 성찰을 일으키게 한다. 그리고 이 과정을 통해 창의적 수업 개선에의 도전이 이루어지며, 실패와 성공, 긍정적, 부정적인 심적 변화를 경험 한 후, 창의적 교수자로 서게 된다. 결국 창의적 교수자는 다시 새로운 멘토가 되어 수업 개선의 재창조를 이끄는 견인자가 된다는 것을 발견하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 첫째, 창의적 수업가로서 전문성이 향상되기 위해서는 실천적인 지식을 얻을 수 있는 수업개선 활동에 참여하는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 창의적 수업 과정에는 자기 성찰의 과정이 반드시 필요하다. 셋째, 자기 성찰의 과정은 멘토와 동료 교사와의 연대가 중요하다. 넷째, 창의적 수업개선을 통해 교사와 학생 모두가 즐거운 학습이 된다. 다섯째, 창의적 수업은 학습자 중심의 다양한 방법으로 재구성되는 재미있는 수업이어야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the creative teaching experience of elementary school teachers in depth, through the grounded theory approach, to derive the essence of creative teaching experience, and to identify the characteristics of creative teaching and the formation process of creative teaching experience by confirming the relationship between each concept. For this purpose, the researcher selected seven teachers who received positive evaluation for leading creative class with class improvement study, participation in educational ability, and public disclosure of class and conducted in-depth interviews. The analysis was conducted with the grounded theory of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding Strauss and Corbin. From the analysis, the key category was defined as ‘Story as a creative teacher through continuous learning and reflection’. Looking at the funnel model, the basis theoretical model, continuous learning is done through external lectures, personal experiences, mentors, and peer teachers’ open class, and changes in classroom teacher, work difficulty, and social atmosphere cause reflection. Through this process, they challenge to make improvement for creative class, and after experiencing failure and success, and positive and negative mental changes, teachers become a creative instructor. The creative instructors become new mentors and lead next round of creation in class improvement. The conclusion of this study is as follows: First, it is necessary to participate in class improvement activities to gain practical knowledge for professional improvement as a creative instructor. Second, the process of self-reflection is essential forcreative class. Third, the process of self-reflection is important for mentors and solidarity with fellow teachers. Fourth, the improvement of creative class can make happy learning experiences for both teachers and students. Fifth, creative class should be a fun class, reconstructed in various learners-oriented ways.
