국문 초록

본 연구는 독거노인 생활관리사의 경험에 대한 자문화기술지 연구이다. 자문화기술지 연구방법을 통하여 내가 직접 만나고 상담하면서 경험한 독거노인의 삶을 밝혔다. 이 과정에서 독거노인들의 삶을 심층적으로 이해하고 공감할 수 있었다. 또한 독거노인들에게 질적으로 필요한 것이 무엇인지, 노인들을 위한 사회적 서비스, 제도, 정책과 같은 요소들을 연구결과에 근거하여 독거노인들의 현실과 상담의 필요성, 독거노인 생활관리사의 직무역량 강화에 대하여 알아보았다. 더불어 독거노인의 문제를 한 개인의 문제에 국한 시키지 않고 독거노인과 관련된 사회적 문제 차원에서 이해하고자 하였고 다양한 독거노인에 대한 경험을 통하여 노인들의 문제해결을 위한 질적인 변화의 필요성에 대한 통찰을 제공하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study is a an autoethnography study on experiences of the senior citizen life manager’s. Through the research method of autoethnography, the researchers shed light on the importance of counseling in the process of healing the elderly living alone and why they focus on the elderly. Based on the results of the study, the researchers learned about the reality of the elderly living alone, the need for counseling, and the strengthening the capability of the life managers for the elderly living alone. In addition, the study reviewed the issue, not limited to the problems of an individual, but in the expanded context of social issue. It is also expected to provide consulting insight in solving various problems for the elderly living alone, and further contribute to strengthening the competence of the life management of the elderly living alone and improving the quality of the life, with diverse experiences with the elderly.
