국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 부모-자녀 간 역기능적 의사소통과 관계적 공격성 관계에서 내면화된 수치심과 거부민감성의 순차매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구방법으로 전국 대학생 222명을 대상으로 Hayes모형 6번과 부트스트랩을 적용하였다. 그 결과 변인간 총효과는 유의하지 않았으나, 내면화된 수치심과 거부민감성을 통한 순차매개효과는 유의하였다. 이때 직접효과의 방향은 반대로 억제효과를 시사하였다. 결국 표면적으로는 대학생의 부모-자녀 간 역기능적 의사소통이 관계적 공격성과 상관관계가 없는 것처럼 보일 수 있으나, 내면화된 수치심과 거부민감성을 통한 유의한 간접효과가 존재하는 것이다. 본 연구는 체계적 관점에서 대학생의 부모-자녀 상호작용의 지속적 영향을 확인하고, 통합적 개입과 사회맥락적 고찰의 필요성을 환기하였다는 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives: This study examined the sequential mediating effects of internalized shame and rejection sensitivity in the relationship between dysfunctional parent-child communication and relational aggression among undergraduate students. Methods: A total of 222 undergraduate students aged 19 to 29 participated in a self-report survey. Data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 and PROCESS Macro 4.2, and mediating effects were tested using Hayes’ model 6 and bootstrapping methods. Results: The results revealed a significant indirect effect of dysfunctional parent-child communication on relational aggression among undergraduate students, mediated by internalized shame and rejection sensitivity. However, the total effect was not statistically significant, and the direction of the direct effect was opposite to that of the indirect effect, suggesting the presence of suppression effects between the variables. Conclusions: Although dysfunctional parent–child communication may not appear to be associated with relational aggression, the significant indirect effect through emotional mediators suggests an underlying link. This study underscores the enduring influence of parent–child interactions in college students from a systemic perspective and emphasizes the need for integrated interventions and sociocultural considerations.
