국문 초록

이 연구는 특수교육 기본 교육과정의 1-2학년군 ‘즐거운 생활’ 교과를 음악과 미술 중심의 예술 통합 교과로 재구조화할 필요성에 주목하였다. 현행 2022 개정 특수교육 ‘즐거운 생활’ 교과는 놀이 중심의 통합적 접근을 취하고 있으나, 음악과 미술 활동은 감각 자극 수준에 머무르며 예술적 표현과 정서적 소통의 구조적 반영이 미흡한 한계를 보였다. 이에 본 연구는 공통 교육과정에서 제안된 ‘즐 거운 생활’ 교과의 재구조화 방향과 특수교육 3-4학년군 음악과·미술과 교육과정 분석, 워드클라우드 분석 및 전문가 의견 수렴을 종합하여 예술 중심 통합 교과로서의 구조화 가능성을 탐색하였다. 연구 결과, ‘즐거운 생활’ 교과를 감각 탐색/체험–감상–표현으로 이어지는 예술 경험의 흐름에 따라 재구성함으로써, 학생의 감정 표현, 자기 인식, 공동체적 소통을 강화할 수 있는 교육적 기반이 마련될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 교과의 성격 및 목표(안), 내용 체계(안), 성취기준(예시 안)을 제안하였다. 본 결과는 장애학생에게 의미 있는 통합적 학습 경험을 제공하고, 예술 활동을 통한 전인적 성장의 가능성을 확장하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study focuses on the need to restructure the “Pleasant Life” subject for grades 1–2 in the special education basic curriculum as an arts-integrated curriculum centered on music and visual arts. While the current 2022 revised special education “Pleasant Life” curriculum adopts a play-based integrated approach, music and art activities remain at the level of sensory stimulation, lacking structured inclusion of artistic expression and emotional communication. Therefore, this study explores the feasibility of restructuring the subject into an arts-centered integrated curriculum by synthesizing the restructuring direction proposed in the general curriculum, analyses of the 2022 special education music and art curricula for grades 3–4, a word cloud analysis, and expert opinions. The results indicate that reorganizing the subject along the flow of artistic experience—sensory exploration, appreciation, and expression—can provide an educational foundation that strengthens emotional expression, self-awareness, and communal interaction for students. Based on these findings, this study proposes a revised framework for the subject's nature and goals, content structure, and sample achievement standards. These results are expected to offer meaningful integrated learning experiences for students with disabilities and expand the potential for holistic development through artistic engagement.
