자기노출에 관한 연구 동향: 국내 학술지를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 학술지에 게재된 자기노출 관련 연구들의 동향을 분석하여 해당 개념에 대한 이해를 심화하고, 전반적인 연구 흐름을 파악함으로써 향후 자기노출 연구가 지향해야 할 방향을 제시하는 데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 '학술연구정보 서비스(RISS)'에서 '자기노출'을 키워드로 검색한 뒤, 한국연구재단(KCI)에 등재된 상담·심리학 분야의 논문 24편을 선정하여 연구 대상으로 삼았다. 선정된 논문들을 중심으로 연구시기, 연구대상, 연구방법, 통계분석 기법, 측정도구, 연구변인 등의 측면을 분석하였으며, 그 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기노출에 관한 연구는 2001년 20대와 30대를 대상으로 한 1편의 연구(4.17%)를 시작으로 2024년까지 꾸준히 이루어졌다. 둘째, 연구 대상 중 대학생을 대상으로 한 연구가 11편(45.83%)으로 가장 많았다. 셋째, 분석 대상인 24편의 논문은 모두 양적 연구로 구성되었으며, 이 중 변인 간 관계 연구가 19.5편(81.25%)으로 가장 많았다. 넷째, 통계 분석별 동향에서는 구조분석 계열이 14.5편(60.42%)으로 가장 빈번하게 나타났다. 다섯째, 측정도구로는 박준호 등(2007)의 자기노출척도(Self-Disclosure Scale)가 7편(29.17%)에서 사용되어 가장 많이 활용되었다. 여섯째, 자기노출은 주로 독립변인과 매개변인으로 설정된 연구가 각각 11편(45.83%)으로 가장 높은 비율을 차지했다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 자기노출 연구 동향의 핵심적인 시사점을 도출하고, 향후 연구의 발전적 방향에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends in self-disclosure-related research published in domestic academic journals, to deepen the understanding of this concept, and identify the overall research trajectory, thereby suggesting future directions for self-disclosure research. Methods: After searching for the keyword “self-disclosure” in the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), 24 papers in the fields of counseling and psychology, published in journals indexed by the Korean Citation Index (KCI), were selected as the subjects of this study. These selected papers were analyzed in terms of publication period, research subjects, research methods, statistical analysis techniques, measurement tools, and research variables. Results: First, research on self-disclosure has been conducted consistently since 2001, starting with one study (4.17%) targeting individuals in their 20s and 30s, and continuing to 2024. Second, studies targeting university students accounted for the largest proportion, with 11 papers (45.83%). Third, all 24 analyzed papers were quantitative studies, with research examining relationships between variables being the most common, accounting for 19.5 papers (81.25%). Fourth, in terms of statistical analysis trends, structural equation modeling was the most frequently employed technique, appearing in 14.5 papers (60.42%). Fifth, the most frequently used measurement tool was the Self-Disclosure Scale developed by Park et al. (2007), it was utilized in seven papers (29.17%). Sixth, self-disclosure was most commonly set as either an independent variable or a mediating variable, each accounting for 11 papers (45.83%). Conclusions: Based on the results of this study, key implications regarding the research trends in self-disclosure were derived, and suggestions for the future development of self-disclosure research are provided.
