장애대학생의 장애수용, 장애정체감에 대한 연구동향: 국내 학술지를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애대학생을 대상으로 한 장애수용과 장애정체감에 관한 국내 연구동향을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. KCI등재 및 KCI 우수등재 논문 중, 관련 키워드로 검색된 중복을 제외한 총 26편을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 두 주제에 대한 연구는 2009년부터 2024년까지 총 26편(장애수용 13편, 장애정체감 13편)의 연구가 진행되었다. 대부분 장애 유형과 관계없이 전체 장애대학생을 대상으로 양적연구로 수행되었다. 자주 사용된 척도는 Linkowski(장애수용), 이익섭 외(장애정체감) 척도였으며, 심리적 적응, 대학생활, 진로 관련 변수들과의 관계를 다룬 연구가 많았다. 위와 같은 결과를 중심으로 하여 연구의 주요 시사점과 장애대학생의 장애수용, 장애정체감에 대한 연구 방향성에 대해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives: The study aim was to examine research trends on disability acceptance and disability identity among college students with disabilities by analyzing domestic academic journal articles published between 2009 and 2023. Methods: Twenty-six peer-reviewed articles were selected through keyword searches (“disabled college students,” “disability acceptance,” “disability identity”) in major Korean academic databases such as KISS, RISS, DBpia, and Kyobo Scholar. After removing duplicates, 13 articles on disability acceptance and 13 on disability identity were analyzed based on publication year, research participants, methodologies, and measurement tools. Results: Research on disability acceptance began in 2009 and on disability identity in 2011, showing a steady increase. Most studies have targeted university students with disabilities regardless of disability type or severity. Quantitative methods have been predominantly used. Common tools have included Linkowski’s scale for disability acceptance and the scale developed by Lee Ik-Seop and Shin Eun-Kyung for disability identity. These variables have often been linked to psychological adjustment, academic life, and career development. Conclusions: The findings suggest the necessity to increase academic interest in the psychosocial development of students with disabilities and emphasize the need for more diverse approaches, including qualitative and intervention-based research.
