신체화 연구 동향: 국내 주요 학술지 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 주요 학술지에 게재된 신체화 관련 연구 동향의 흐름을 정리하여 지식과 정보를 제공하고 향후 연구의 방향성을 제시하는데, 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 2013년부터 2024년까지의 국내 학술지 중 KCI에 등재된 논문 41편을 최종 선택하였으며 발행연도, 연구대상, 발행학술지, 측정도구, 연구방법과 연구변인별로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신체화 관련 연구는 2020년부터 증가하면서 2021년에 10편으로 가장 많은 수의 논문이 발행되었으며 이후에 감소하는 추세이다. 둘째, 연구대상은 대학생을 대상을 한 연구(39%)가 가장 많았으며 다음으로 성인을 대상으로 한 연구(25.6%)가 많았다. 대학생과 성인의 비율이 청소년기보다 월등하게 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 신체화를 주제로 국내 주요 학술지 논문 41편을 대상으로 분석한 결과 한국 심리학회지에 게재된 연구가 6편으로 가장 많았다. 청소년학 연구와 학습자 중심 교과 교육 각각 4편으로 그 뒤를 이었다, 넷째, 연구에 사용된 측정 도구로는 간이 정신 진단 검사 수정판이 27편으로 가장 높게 나타났다. 다섯째, 연구 방법은 모두 양적 연구였으며 조사 연구가 39편, 실험 연구가 2편으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 연구 대상 총 41편을 분석한 결과, 신체화의 연구 변인별 동향은 종속변인이 36편, 독립변인이 5편으로 나타났다. 신체화가 종속변인인 경우, 독립변인으로 사용된 요인은 정서, 심리, 인지적 관련 요인이 13.49편(37.47%)으로 가장 높은 비율로 수행되었다. 본 연구에서 신체화 관련 연구의 동향을 분석함으로써 신체화와 정서, 심리적인 요인들과 유의미한 관련성를 확인하고 신체화에 대한 지식을 제공하였으며, 향우 효과적인 상담 개입을 위한 방향성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives: The study aimed to analyze trends in research on somatization published in major domestic journals, to provide relevant knowledge and information, and to suggest directions for future research. Methods: A total of 41 research papers published in domestic journals indexed in the Korea Citation Index (KCI) from 2013 to 2024 were selected and analyzed based on year of publication, research subjects, publication sources, measurement tools, research methods, and research variables. Results: Research articles on somatization have increased since 2020, peaking in 2021 with 10 papers, followed by a declining trend. The most common research subjects were college students (39%), followed by adults (25.6%). The proportion of studies on college students and adults was significantly higher than those on adolescents. Among the 41 papers on somatization published in major domestic academic journals, the highest number (six) were published in the Korean Journal of Psychology. This was followed by Journal of Adolescent Studies and Learner-Centered Curriculum and Instruction. The most frequently used measurement tool in the studies was the revised version of the Brief Mental Health Screening Test appearing in 26 papers. All studies employed quantitative research methods, with 39 using survey research and two using experimental research. Among the 41 analyzed studies, 36 treated somatization as a dependent variable, while five treated it as an independent variable. When somatization was treated as a dependent variable, the most commonly used independent variables were emotional, psychological, and cognitive factors, appearing in 13.49 studies (37.47%). Conclusions: By analyzing trends in research on somatization, significant associations with emotional and psychological factors were identified. Additionally, knowledge and data on somatization research were provided, along with directions for effective counseling interventions in the future.
