국문 초록

본 연구는 디지털 대전환 및 인공지능 시대에 필수적인 디지털 리터러시가 삶의 만족도와 디지털 시민성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 디지털 리터러시, 삶의 만족도, 디지털 시민성의 관계성을 살펴보고, 디지털 리터러시와 디지털 시민성의 관계에서 삶의 만족도의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 2024년 11월 4일부터 11월 20일까지 수도권의 K대학교 인문‧사회 계열 재학생을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 통해 수집된 자료 중 219명을 SPSS 22.0을 사용하여 Pearson 적률상관분석을 하였고, Hayes의 PROCESS Macro 4.2를 활용하여 매개효과를 분석하고 부트스트래핑을 통해 통계적 유의성을 검증하였다. 주요 결과로는 첫째, 디지털 리터러시, 삶의 만족도, 디지털 시민성은 모두 유의미한 정적 상관으로 나타났다. 둘째, 디지털 리터러시 수준이 높을수록 디지털 시민성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 디지털 리터러시 수준이 높을수록 삶의 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 삶의 만족도는 디지털 리터러시와 디지털 시민성의 관계에서 부분 매개효과를 나타내었다. 본 결과는 대학생들의 디지털 시민성을 향상시키기 위해서는 디지털 리터러시와 더불어 삶의 만족도를 증진시켜야 한다는 시사점이 있다. 이는 디지털 리터러시 교육과 함께 삶의 만족도를 증진시킬 수 있는 구체적이고 체계적인 정책 필요성을 의미한다.

영문 초록

This study examines the relationships between digital literacy, life satisfaction, and digital citizenship to enhance and foster digital citizenship. Additionally, it analyzes the mediating effect of life satisfaction on the relationship between digital literacy and digital citizenship. From November 4 to 20, 2024, data were collected via an online survey from 219 humanities and social sciences students at K University in the Seoul metropolitan area. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 for Pearson correlation and Hayes' PROCESS Macro 4.2 for mediation analysis, with statistical significance verified through bootstrapping. The principal findings of this study are as follows. First, digital literacy, life satisfaction, and digital citizenship all showed significant positive correlations. Second, higher levels of digital literacy were associated with higher levels of digital citizenship. Third, higher digital literacy levels corresponded to greater life satisfaction. Fourth, life satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between digital literacy and digital citizenship. To enhance digital citizenship among university students, it is essential to improve not only digital literacy but also life satisfaction. This underscores the need for specific and systematic policies that can simultaneously foster digital literacy education and promote life satisfaction.
