국문 초록

본 연구목적은 그림책을 활용한 칭찬활동이 만 5세 유아의 자아탄력성 및 행복감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 데 있다. 연구대상은 실험집단 유아 26명과 담임교사, 통제집단 유아 26명과 담임교사이며, 그림책을 활용한 칭찬활동은 실험집단 유아에게 8주간 주 2회(1회기 당, 약 30분), 총 15회 실시되었다. 연구결과 첫째, 그림책을 활용한 칭찬활동은 만 5세 유아의 자아탄력성 전반에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하위영역별 결과에서는 자아탄력성 중 `애착`영역에서 유의한 차이를 보여, 그림책을 활용한 칭찬활동에 참여한 유아들이 통제집단 유아에 비해 애착행동에서 의미 있는 차이를 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 그림책을 활용한 칭찬활동이 유아 행복감에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 실험집단과 통제집단 간 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 실험집단의 사전-사후검사 결과에서 유아들의 행복감이 그림책을 활용한 칭찬활동을 실시하기 이전에 비해 증진된 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the activity of praise using a picture book on the ego-resilience and happiness of 5-year-old children. The study participants included 26 children assigned to an experimental group and the teacher in charge of them and 26 children assigned to a control group and the teacher in charge of them. The activity of praise using a picture book was performed with the children assigned to the experimental group a total of 15 times for 8 weeks. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was shown that the activity of praise using a picture book had a positive effect on the ego-resilience of 5-year-old children in general. In the results according to the sub-category, a significant difference was shown in the 'attachment' category of the ego-resilience. Thus, it was possible to find that children participating in the activity of praise using a picture book showed a significant difference in attachment behavior compared with children assigned to the control group. Second, in the analysis results for the effect of the activity of praise using a picture book on the happiness of children, no significant difference was observed between the experimental and control groups. However, in the pretest-posttest result for the experimental group, it was shown that children`s happiness was improved compared with the children who did not performing the activity of praise using a picture book.
