기관유형에 따른 영유아교사 행복감, 직무스트레스, 놀이지원역량의 차이와 관계 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 기관유형(유치원, 어린이집)에 따라 영유아교사 행복감, 직무스트레스, 놀이지원 역량 차이와 관계를 규명하여 기관유형을 반영한 교사교육의 방향성을 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 인천지역 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하는 영유아교사 225명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 수집된 데이터는 독립적 T 검증, 상관분석을 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 기관유형(유치원, 어린이집)에 따라 영유아교사 행복감에는 차이가 없었으나, 직무스트레스는 어린이집 교사가 유치원 교사보다 원장 및 교사 스트레스가 높게 나타났다. 이에 반해 놀이지원역량은 유치원 교사가 어린이집 교사보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 기관유형(유치원, 어린이집)에 따른 교사 행복감과 놀이지원역량과의 관계에서 유치원 교사와 어린이집 교사 모두 행복감이 높을수록 놀이지원역량이 높게 나타났다. 또한 기관 유형(유치원, 어린이집)에 따른 교사의 직무스트레스와 놀이지원역량과의 관계에서는 상관이 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 두 기관 교사 모두 원아활동과 관련된 직무스트레스와 놀이지원역량은 하위요인별로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 교사의 행복감, 직무스트레스, 영유아 놀이지원역량은 유치원 교사와 어린이집 교사 간에 서로 상이한 결과를 보이므로, 기관유형에 따른 교사교육의 방향성을 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the differences and relationships in happiness, job stress, and play support competency among early childhood teachers based on the type of institution they work in (kindergarten or daycare center) and to provide direction for teacher education. A survey was conducted on 225 early childhood teachers employed in kindergartens and daycare centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon regions. The collected data were analyzed using independent t-tests and correlation analysis. The study findings are as follows: Firstly, there was no disparity in teacher happiness based on the type of institution (kindergarten or daycare center). However, regarding job stress, daycare center teachers reported experiencing higher stress from principals and colleagues compared to kindergarten teachers. Moreover, kindergarten teachers demonstrated greater play support competency than daycare center teachers. Secondly, concerning the relationship between teacher happiness and play support competency based on the type of institution, both kindergarten and daycare center teachers indicated that higher happiness levels were linked to better play support competency. Furthermore, no correlation was found between teachers' job stress and play support competency based on the type of institution. Nonetheless, significant differences were observed in sub-factors related to job stress and play support competence in both types of institutions. This study highlights that happiness, job stress, and play competency vary between kindergarten and daycare center teachers, and presents the direction of teacher education according to the type of institution.
