국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 학교 현장에서 과정중심평가를 적용한 학교스포츠클럽 대회 운영 경험을 탐색하고, 그 의미를 밝혀 학교 현장의 교사들에게 실천적인 지식을 제공하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 이 연구는 과정중심평가를 적용한 학교스포츠클럽 대회에 관한 개인 내적 자료를 집중적으로 수집하고 분석하기 위해 자문화기술지를 활용하였다. 이 과정에서 자기 회상, 자기 성찰, 자기 관찰, 참여 관찰, 연구 일지 작성, 관련 문서 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 수집된 자료는 전사 과정을 거쳐, 자문화기술지 분석 방법 중에 테마 분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과: 이 연구의 결과는 첫째, 과정중심평가를 적용한 학교스포츠클럽 대회 운영 경험은 ‘되돌아보기’, ‘도전해보기’, ‘다시 일어서기’라는 3가지 주제로 범주화하였다. 둘째, 과정중심평가를 적용한 학교스포츠클럽 대회 운영은 심동적 영역에 ‘향상도 평가’, 인지적 영역에 ‘포트폴리오 평가’, 정의적 영역에 ‘스포츠맨십 평가’ 도입으로 실현하였다. 셋째, 과정중심 평가를 적용한 학교스포츠클럽 대회 운영으로 드러난 변화의 의미는 ‘학생소외 없는 모두가 참여하는 환경 조성’, ‘전인교육을 통한 대회 본래 목표 실현’, ‘협력적 학습을 통한 성장’으로 드러났다. 결론: 이 연구는 실제 교육 현장에서 발생하는 문제점을 파악하고, 학교스포츠클럽 대회의 긍정적 영향을 받지 못하는 소외학생들에게 주목하여 혜택 대상의 확대를 위한 구체적인 운영 방안을 제시하였다. 또한, 과정중심평가라는 학교 교육과정의 평가 방식과 일치성을 도모하였다. 이러한 노력은 학생들이 전인적인 발전을 경험할 수 있도록 하고, 평가의 방향성을 보다 명확하게 설정하는 데 기여하고자 했다. 결국, 이 연구가 학교스포츠클럽 대회 운영 방안을 재고하고 보다 포용적인 환경을 조성하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공함으로써 교육 현장에 실질적인 변화를 가져올 수 있는 중요한 기반이 되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of operating school sports club competitions applying process-oriented assessment in educational settings, and to elucidate their significance in order to provide practical knowledge to teachers in the field. Methods: This study employed autoethnography to focus on the collection and analysis of personal internal data regarding school sports club competitions that apply process-oriented assessment. In this process, methods such as self-recollection, self-reflection, self-observation, participant observation, the preparation of research journals, and the analysis of relevant documents were conducted. The data collected as a result underwent a transcription process and was subjected to thematic analysis, one of the methodologies of autoethnographic analysis. Results: The results of this study are as follows: First, the experiences of operating school sports club competitions applying process-oriented assessment were categorized into three themes: “Reflection,” “Challenge,” and “Resilience.” Second, the operation of school sports club competitions utilizing process-oriented assessment was realized through the introduction of “Improvement Assessment” in the psychomotor domain, “Portfolio Assessment” in the cognitive domain, and “Sportsmanship Assessment” in the affective domain. Third, the meanings of the changes revealed through the operation of school sports club competitions with process-oriented assessment were reflected in creating an environment for “inclusive participation without student exclusion,” achieving the original goals of the competitions through “holistic education,” and “growth through collaborative learning.” Conclusion: This study identified the issues occurring in actual educational settings and focused on students who do not benefit from the positive effects of school sports club competitions, proposing concrete operational strategies to expand the target beneficiaries. Additionally, it aimed to align with the assessment method of process-oriented evaluation within the school curriculum. These efforts were intended to enable students to experience holistic development and to contribute to establishing a clearer direction for assessments. Ultimately, it is anticipated that this study will provide foundational materials for reconsidering the operation strategies of school sports club competitions and for creating a more inclusive environment, thereby bringing about substantial changes to the educational field.
