국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 시대적 변화와 교육관의 변천에 따른 교장, 교사, 학생의 관계를 응보적 생활지도, 회복적 생활교육, 작용-반작용 개념을 바탕으로 살펴보는 데 있다. 연구방법: 우리나라 교육에서 교사-학생 관계의 시대적 변화와 교육관의 변천을 살펴본 후, 다양한 교육적 논의와 프랑스 영화 <코러스>를 중심으로 응보적 생활지도와 회복적 생활교육의 양상을 분석하였다. 연구결과: 작용-반작용에 의거한 응보적 생활지도는 강압적 규율로 학생의 문제행동을 억제하려 하지만, 이는 학생의 정서적 반발과 관계 갈등을 초래하며 근본적인 문제를 해결하지 못한다. 반대로, 회복적 생활교육은 처벌보다 관계 회복과 공동체 형성을 목표로 하며, 학생의 자발적 책임과 상호 존중을 촉진한다. 결론: 회복적 교육 방식을 통해 신뢰와 공감을 바탕으로 학생이 자기 행동에 책임을 지고 피해를 보상하는 과정을 주도적으로 이끌도록 유도하거나, 학생의 잠재력을 발견하고 관계를 회복하는 활동에 적극적으로 참여시켜 정서적 성장과 평화로운 공동체를 형성하는 이상적인 교장, 교사, 학생의 관계를 만들어갈 필요성이 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The objective of this study was to examine the relationship between school principals, teachers, and students based on the concepts of retributive orientation, restorative education, and action-reaction in response to changes in the times and educational perspectives. Methods: After examining the changes in teacher-student relationships and educational perspectives in Korean education, the authors analyzed the aspects of retributive orientation and restorative education based on various educational discussions and the French film . Results: Retributive orientation based on action-reaction attempts to suppress students' problematic behaviors through coercive discipline, but this leads to emotional reactions and relational conflicts in students and fails to solve the fundamental problems. In contrast, restorative education aims to restore relationships and form a community rather than punish, and promotes students' voluntary responsibility and mutual respect. Conclusion: It is necessary to create an ideal relationship between the principal, teacher and student that leads students to take responsibility for their actions and take the initiative to repair the damage based on trust and empathy through restorative education methods, or to actively participate in activities that uncover students' potential and restore relationships, thus forming emotional growth and a peaceful school community.
