국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 학교 교육과정 설계ㆍ운영을 실현하기 위해 수행해 온 교사의 역할 실태를 분석하고 교사의 역할 수행을 체계적으로 지원하기 위한 방안을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 본 연구의 목적을 달성하고자 이론적 탐색과 더불어 면담 조사, 델파이 조사, 설문 조사, 전문가 협의회 등을 활용하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구에서는 학교 교육과정 설계ㆍ운영에서 나타나는 교사의 역할 실태와 그에 따른 지원 요구를 도출한 후에 정체기, 변화도입기, 도약기의 세 시기로 구분하고, 각 시기를 문서로서의 교육과정, 제도, 문화의 세 가지 측면으로 구분해 구체화하였다. 결론: 본 연구의 결과는 학교 교육과정 설계ㆍ운영과 관련된 교사의 전문성을 지속적으로 신장하기 위한 방안을 도출하는 데 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이상의 연구 결과 및 그에 따른 기대 효과가 제도적인 측면에서 체계화될 수 있도록 1급 정교사 자격 이후의 교원의 자격 기준을 세분화하는 방안도 함께 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the current status of teachers’ roles in designing and operating school curriculum and to explore support measures to systematically support teachers’ roles. Methods: To achieve this purpose, this study utilized theoretical exploration, interviews, Delphi surveys, questionnaires, and expert consultations. Results: In this study, the current status of teachers’ roles in designing and operating school curriculum and the corresponding support needs were divided into three periods: stagnation, change introduction, and leap forward. Each period was specified and derived from three aspects: curriculum as a document, system, and culture. Conclusion: The results of this study are expected to be utilized to derive measures to continuously enhance the professionalism of teachers related to the design and operation of the school curriculum. Accordingly, this study also proposed a plan to subdivide the qualification standards for teachers after the first-class regular teacher qualification so that the above research results and the expected effects can be systematized from an institutional aspect.
