학교생활만족도가 특수학교 전공과 학생의 진로적응성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 특수학교 전공과 학생의 학교생활만족도가 진로적응성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법: 연구 대상자는 B광역시 소재 특수학교 전공과에 재학 중인 학생 128명을 목적표집법으로 선정하였다. 연구 도구는 선행연구를 토대로 학교생활만족도와 진로적응성 척도를 수정·보완하여 사용하였다. 조사 기간은 2016년 3월부터 5월까지 약 3개월이 소요되었다. 초기 150부를 발송하여 136부가 회수되었으며(회수율 91%), 최종 분석에는 128부를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0을 이용하여 처리하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 학교생활만족도와 진로적응성 수준은 높은 편이며, 지적만족, 자아실현, 학교환경에 대한 학교생활만족도와 관심, 통제에 대한 진로적응성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교생활만족도는 출신고교 유형에 따라, 진로적응성은 장애등급, 진로교육 및 훈련경험에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 장애등급이 낮고, 진로교육 및 훈련경험이 있으며, 교사와의 관계가 좋을수록 진로적응성이 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 교우활동은 진로적응성 하위요인에 부적 또는 정적인 영향을 미치는 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 결론: 장애학생의 장애 특성을 고려한 진로교육을 수립하고 교우활동을 비롯한 학교생활만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this article is to identify the effect of school life satisfaction on career adaptability of students in special schools’ majoring courses. Method: 128 students in special school’s majoring courses were recruited by purposive sampling method. School Life Satisfaction Scale and Career Adaptability Scale were modified and used based on prior research. The research was conducted between March and May 2016. The total of 150 questionnaires was sent to students and 136 were received(91%). Researchers identified 128 questionnaires and analyzed them using SPSS 23.0. Results: First, the overall level of school life satisfaction and career adaptability were relatively high. Also, the level of school life satisfaction on intellectual satisfaction, self-actualization and school environment and the level career adaptability on concern and control were especially high. Second, the level of school life satisfaction was differed by the type of high schools they graduated. The level of career adaptation was differed by the level of disability and the experience of career education and training. Third, the level of career adaptability was higher when the student had a lower level of disability, had experienced career education and training, and they have a good relationship with teachers. Fourth, the activity with friends were identified to be an influencing factor as it appears to affect the sub-factors of career adaptation negatively or positively. Conclusion: It is concluded that we should establish career education considering students’ characteristics of disability and explore strategies for the improvement of the school life satisfaction.
