일반교사의 중도․중복장애학생 통합교육 경험 및 지원요구

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 일반교사의 중도·중복장애학생 통합교육 경험과 지원요구를 분석하는 것이다. 연구방법: 연구 참여자는 중도·중복장애학생이 통합된 일반학급 교사 11명이고, 자료는 1회의 개별면담, 2회의 포커스그룹 면담으로 총 3회의 심층면담을 진행하여 수집하였다. 면담시간은 개별면담은 1시간, 포커스그룹 면담은 1시간 30분에서 2시간 정도로 진행하였다. 연구결과: 중도·중복장애학생 통합교육에 대한 일반교사의 인식, 중도·중복장애학생 통합교육 운영 실제, 중도·중복장애학생 통합교육의 어려움, 중도·중복장애학생의 통합을 위한 노력, 중도·중복장애학생 통합교육을 위한 지원요구로 총 5개의 대주제가 도출되었다. 결론: 연구결과를 바탕으로 중도·중복장애학생 통합교육의 질을 향상시키고, 통합교육을 활성화시킬 수 있는 지원요구에 대하여 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the general education teachers’ experiences on inclusive education for students with severe and multiple disabilities, and to search for ways to support inclusive education for students with severe and multiple disabilities. Method: A total of 11 general education teachers of inclusive classroom for students with severe and multiple disabilities participated in this study using a purposive sampling. The research design consisted of three in-depth interview sessions including 1st focus group interview for 4 participants, 2nd focus group interview for 6 participants, and 3rd individual interview for 1 participants in consideration of participants' schedule. The interview time per session was 1 hour 30minutes to 2 hours. Results: The results presented the general education teachers’ perception about the inclusive education for students with severe and multiple disabilities, current practices, and requirements to facilitate inclusive education for students with severe and multiple disabilities. Conclusion: Based on these results, suggestions to facilitate quality of education and inclusive education for students with severe and multiple disabilities were discussed.
