국문 초록

스리랑카는 매년 무역 수지 적자를 기록하고 있어 대외 수지 무역 개선이 시급한 상황이며,이로 인해 스리랑카 정부에서는 수출을 증가시켜 무역수지 적자를 개선하는 것을 중요한 목표로 삼고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 스리랑카의 수출 증가에 영향을 끼치는 요인에 관해살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 수출 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 경제적 시점과 사회적 시점으로 분석하여 연구 모형을 수립하였다. 제안한 연구모형을 분석하기 위해 1978년도부터2012년도까지 과거 35년간 스리랑카의 시계열 데이터를 수집하였으며, 시계열 분석 방법을이용해 스리랑카의 수출 성과에 미치는 요인들에 대해 단기적인 관점 및 장기적인 관점으로분석하였다.

영문 초록

The improvement of trade balance by increasing export performance is one of theimportant future plans for the Sri Lankan government, so the purpose of this study is toidentify influential factors and examine how they affect export performance in Sri Lanka. We collected data of the past 35 years to identify economic and social variables byconsidering potential impacts on the export performance. Moreover, we examined long-runand short-run relationship of the factors with export performance during the period of1978 to 2012 by using unit root tests, multicollinearity test, normality test, serialcorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, and co-integration techniques. We expect that theoutcomes contribute to the establishment of long-term macroeconomic strategies of SriLanka.
