국문 초록

국제 분업 제도의 개선과 다국적 기업의 기업 간 투자 무역 흐름의 활성화는 글로벌 가치 사슬 분업 체계 중요성을 더 부각시키고 있다. 이 가운데 FTA 원산지 규정의 엄격한 기준은 중간재 조달, 외국인 투자 및 역외 아웃소싱과 같은 다국적 기업의 국경 간 생산 전략에 영향을 미쳐 지역 내(외부) 내 무역 흐름 및 투자 흐름에 영향을 미치게 된다. 이 맥락에서 FTA 원산지 규정의 엄격성이 경제 주체들의 가치 사슬 참여에 미치는 영향은 특히 중요하다. 이는 원산지 규정이 FTA 효과의 결정에 있어 중요한 역할을 하기 때문이다. 실증적 결과는 샘플 국가(지역)의 FTA 원산지 규정이 중국의 가치사슬 참여에 상당한 억제 효과를 미친다는 것을 보여준다. 다른 연구결과들과 마찬가지로 원산지 규정이 엄격해지면 중국이 전세계 무역에서 가치사슬의 참여에 있어 억제적인 작용을 함을 보여주는 것이다. 메커니즘 분석에 따르면 FTA 원산지 규정은 무역 비용을 증가시켜 가치 사슬 참여를 저해하고, 공급자 전환으로 이어져 가치 사슬 참여를 저해하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

In recent years, with the refinement of the international division of labor system, multinational corporations have closely connected the parent company and subsidiaries, subsidiaries and subsidiaries through the flow of investment and trade between enterprises, forming the global value chain division of labor. The strict criteria of FTA rules of origin affect the trade flow and investment flow within the region (outside) through the cross-border production strategies of multinational companies such as intermediate goods procurement, foreign investment and offshore outsourcing, thus affecting the value chain participation of a country (region). In this context, the influence of the FTA rules of origin on the value chain participation is particularly important, so an in-depth and systematic study is necessary. This study aimed explore the impact of FTA rules of origin on participation in value chain, aiming to provide theoretical and policy reference for China to enhance participation in value chain. The results show that the FTA rules of origin in the sample country (region) have a significant inhibitory effect on China’s value chain participation. Mechanism analysis found that the FTA rules of origin lead to increased trade costs and thus inhibit value chain participation, and lead to supplier conversion and thus inhibit value chain participation.
