국문 초록

이 연구는 일반계 고등학교와 특성화 고등학교 교사의 수업개선 활동과 혁신적 수업 방법, 그리고 학생의 창의성 발달 간의 구조적 관계를 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울교육정책연구소에서 실시한 서울교육종단연구 7차년도(2016년 10월 ~ 12월) 학생 및 교사 자료를 활용하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 도출한 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반계고와 특성화고 교사들은 모두 자신의 자율적 의지에 의해 실행 여부를 판단하고 참여한 활동으로부터 수업 개선의 실질적인 효과를 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 단위학교 차원과 교육청 차원의 수업개선 활동이 실제 수업을 변화시키기 위해서는 일반계 고등학교와 특성화 고등학교 소속 교사들의 차별적인 개선 노력이 필요하다. 셋째, 교사의 혁신적 수업 방식이 실제 학생의 창의성 함양에 초점을 맞추고 있는지 교사의 의식적인 검토가 필요하다. 수업현장이 창의성에 대한 바른 이해를 통해 구현되고 있는지 후속 연구를 통해 밝히고 조금 더 포괄적인 시각에서 접근해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This research is aimed at grasping the structural relationship between class improvement initiatives and innovative teaching methods that both general high and specialized high school teachers have taken and the development of a student’s creativity. The research results have made following implications: First, Both general and specialized high school teachers gained tangible fruits of improvement in their classes from the activities they’ve been voluntarily involved in. Second, if initiatives made by each school unit and the Education Office in pursuit of improving classes should make an actual change in a school teaching, both general and specialized high school teachers need to make efforts to improve them. Third, teachers need to purposefully review if their innovative teaching methods are focused on building creativity of students. To know if the actual teaching is made on the basis of a sound understanding about creativity, a further research should be made from a more comprehensive perspective.
