국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학생이 지각한 부모양육태도와 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 한국아동·청소년패널조사2018(Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018; KCYPS 2018) 4차년도 자료 중(2021년 기준) 고등학교 1학년 2,265명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 29.0, SPSS PROCESS Macro 4.2를 활용하였으며, 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학생이 지각한 긍정적 부모양육태도는 그릿 및 삶의 만족도와 유의한 정적 상관이 있었고, 지각된 부정적 부모양육태도는그릿 및 삶의 만족도와 유의한 부적 상관이 나타났으며, 그릿과 삶의 만족도는 유의한 정적 상관이있었다. 둘째, 고등학생이 지각한 긍정적·부정적 부모양육태도와 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 그릿은유의한 부분 매개효과가 있었다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 고등학생이 지각한 부모양육태도와 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 그릿이 중요한 요인임을 확인하였으며, 이를 토대로 연구의 의의와 제한점, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study examines weather grit mediates the relationship between high school students' perceptions of parental parenting attitudes and their life satisfaction. To this end, 2,265 first year high school students (as of 2021) were selected as research subjects from the 4th year of the Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018 conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute. SPSS 29.0 and SPSS PROCESS Macro 4.2 were used to analyze the data. Results of the study are summarized as follows. First, high school students' perceived positive parental parenting attitudes had a significant positive correlation with grit and life satisfaction. Perceived negative parental parenting attitudes had a significant negative correlation with grit and life satisfaction. Grit and life satisfaction had a significant positive correlation. Second, grit had a significant partial mediating effect in the relationship between high school students' perceived positive and negative parental parenting attitudes and life satisfaction. Based on these research results, we confirmed that grit was an important factor in the relationship between high school students' perceived parenting attitudes and life satisfaction and discussed the significance and limitations of the study and suggestions for follow-up research.
