직장인 소명과 직무만족의 관계에 관한 통합적 문헌고찰 : 국내 양적 연구를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 직장인의 소명과 직무만족 간의 관계에 관한 연구 문헌을 바탕으로 소명에 대한 개념과 소명과 직무만족 간의 관계에 영향을 미치는 다양한 변인을 통합적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 KCI 등재 학술지 중 양적 연구 28편을 선정하여 직장인 소명과 직무만족 간의 관계에 대해 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 해당 주제로 수행된 연구 논문 건수는 2015년 이후 안정적이었으며 2020년 6편(21%)으로 정점을 기록한 뒤, 2022년을 제외하고 지금까지 증가세를 유지하였다. 둘째, 연구들은 주로 교육학·심리학·상담학·간호학·관광학 분야에서 이루어졌으며, 연구 대상 비중은 교육, 의료, 일반기업, 관광, 상담, 공공기관 종사자 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 소명의 측정도구는 CVQ-K, MCM-K, VCS-K, BCS, 기타 순으로 활용 빈도가 높았다. 넷째, 분석 문헌들은 주로 소명을 독립변인 또는 매개변인으로, 직무만족을 종속변인으로 설정하여 두 변수의 관계를 검증하고 있었다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 소명을 기반으로 직장인 직무만족 증진을 위한 상담개입 방안에 대한 시사점과 향후 연구 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to systematically review the relationship between employees’sense of calling and job satisfaction by analyzing quantitative research conducted in South Korea. Twenty-eight quantitative studies published in KCI-indexed journals were identified and examined through integrated literature review. The findings are as follows: First, research activity on this topic remained stable after 2015, peaking in 2020 with six studies (21%), and -except for 2020- has shown a general upward trend. Second, most studies were conducted in the fields of education, psychology, counseling, nursing, and tourism, with research participants including educators, healthcare professionals, corporate employees, tourism workers, counselors, and public sector employees, in that order of prevalence. . Third, the most frequently used instruments for measuring calling were CVQ-K, MCM-K, VCS-K, and BCS. Fourth, in most studies, calling was conceptualized as an independent or mediating variable, while job satisfaction was treated as a dependent variable. This review highlights the evidence linking calling to job satisfaction and underscore the value of calling-based counseling interventions to enhance employees’ well-being and workplace satisfaction. Implications for practice and recommendations for future research are also discussed.
