실용음악음향전공 마스터클래스 수업 실행연구 - 숏폼 콘텐츠 제작을 중심으로 -

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 4년제 K대학교 A학과에서 운영된 실용음악음향전공 마스터클래스 수업에서 학생들이 유튜브 쇼츠(YouTube Shorts) 형식의 숏폼 콘텐츠를 제작하고 최종 상영회를 수행한 사례를 중심으로 교육적 가능성을 탐색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 2024년 2학기, 총 16주간 운영된 본 수업은 연구자가 설계한 5단계 수업모형에 따라 진행되었으며, 수업계획안은 주차별 학습목표와 활동 내용을 중심으로 체계화되었다. 수업에는 총 16명의 수강생이 참여하였고, 이들 중 연구 참여에 동의한 3명을 대상으로 본 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 참여 학생들은 콘텐츠 기획 및 제작(촬영, 편집, 피드백), 상영에 이르는 작품 제작의 전 과정을 주도적으로 수행하였으며, 이를 통해 자기주도성, 창의성, 진로 인식과 계획의 명확성 등 실천적 학습역량을 통합적으로 발현할 수 있는 기회를 가지게 되었다. 본 연구는 숏폼 콘텐츠 제작 경험이 학습자의 전공기반 핵심역량 강화는 물론, 디지털 콘텐츠 기반의 실용예술 분야 실무교육으로 확장될 수 있는 가능성을 실증적으로 제시하였다. 본 연구는 향후 실용음악음향전공 및 관련 교육과정에서 숏폼 콘텐츠를 교수‧학습 도구로 활용하고자 하는 후속 연구 및 실천적 수업 설계의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore educational possibilities by focusing on a case where students produced short-form content in the form of YouTube Shorts and held a final screening in a master class for the practical music and acoustics major operated in Department A of K University, a four-year university in Korea. This course, which was run for a total of 16 weeks in the second semester of 2024, was conducted according to a five-step class model designed by the researcher, and the lesson plan was systematized around learning objectives and activity contents for each week. A total of 16 students participated in the class, and the research was conducted on three of them who agreed to participate in the study. Participating students took the lead in the entire process of producing a work, from content planning, filming, editing, feedback, and screening, and through this, had the opportunity to comprehensively develop practical learning capabilities such as self-initiative, creativity, career awareness, and clarity of planning. This case study empirically demonstrates the possibility that the experience of producing short-form content can be expanded into practical education in the field of digital content-based practical arts as well as strengthening learners’ major-based core competencies. This study can be used as basic data for follow-up research and practical class design that aims to utilize short-form content as a teaching/learning tool in practical music and acoustics majors and related courses in the future.
