국문 초록

본 연구는 하이브리드 러닝 기반 실시간 글로벌 합창 프로젝트 교육(PBL) 방안을 제안하고, 학습자에게 제공되는 어포던스(Affordance, 학습 환경이 제공하는 가능성과 기회) 탐색을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 세계 각국의 학생들이 온·오프라인 환경에서 실시간으로 소통하고 협업하여 합창 활동을 수행하는 과정에서 나타나는 특징을 분석하고, 실제 운영 가능성을 검토하였다. 연구에 활용된 기술적 도구로는 실시간 오디오 전달 프로그램 Jamulus, 온라인 화상회의 플랫폼 ZOOM, 온라인 방송 송출 소프트웨어 OBS Studio를 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 적절한 네트워크 환경과 프로그램 활용 능력이 전제된다면, 실시간 온라인 글로벌 합창 프로젝트는 충분히 실현 가능함을 확인하였다. 특히 본 프로젝트는 학습자에게 다국적 학생들과의 협업이라는 특별한 경험을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 기존의 가창·기악 중심의 연주 영역을 넘어 창작과 감상의 영역으로까지 확장될 수 있는 교육적 가능성을 보여주었다. 이는 하이브리드 학습 환경이 학습자의 미적 경험을 심화하고, 기존 음악 교육이 가진 물리적 제약을 극복하는 하나의 유효한 대안임을 입증한다. 이와 더불어 음악 교육에 대한 접근 방식을 보다 글로벌한 시각에서 새롭게 조망하며, 개방적이고 유연한 학습 환경의 구축이 중요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study proposes an educational approach for a real-time global choir project based on hybrid learning and aims to explore the affordances(possibilities and opportunities) offered to learners within this learning environment. To achieve this, the study analyzed the characteristics that emerged as students from various countries collaborated in real time through both online and offline settings to engage in choir activities. It also assessed the feasibility of actual implementation. The technological tools utilized in this project included Jamulus for real-time audio transmission, the online video conferencing platform ZOOM, and the broadcasting software OBS Studio. The results demonstrated that, given an adequate network environment and sufficient proficiency in using the programs, a real-time global choir project is indeed feasible. In particular, this project not only provided learners with the unique experience of collaborating with multinational peers, but also highlighted the educational potential to expand beyond traditional singing and instrumental performance into the realms of music creation and appreciation. This confirms that hybrid learning environments can deepen learners' aesthetic experiences and serve as a viable alternative to overcoming the physical limitations of conventional music education. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of reimagining music education from a more global perspective and underscores the need to establish open and flexible learning environments.
