예비유아교사의 과잉경쟁태도에 따른 자아존중감 및 의사소통능력의 차이

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 과잉경쟁태도에 따른 자아존중감 및 의사소통능력의 차이를 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 전북 전주시에 위치한 3년제 유아교육과 1, 2, 3 학년 학생, 즉 예비유아교사 168명을 대상으로 과잉경쟁태도, 자아존중감, 의사소통능력에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 예비유아교사의 과잉경쟁태도 점수를 빈도분석하여 상하위 두 그룹으로 나눈 후, 집단 별 자아존중감과 의사소통능력 점수의 차이를 t-test를 통해 검증하였다. 연구결과 예비유아교사의 과잉경쟁태도와 자아존중감의 관계는 과잉경쟁태도가 높은 집단에서 자아존중감 전체, 그리고 자아존중감의 하위 항목 중자기수용, 자기책임, 자기주장, 목적적인 삶의 점수가 높게 나타났다. 예비유아교사의 과잉경쟁태도에 따른 의사소통능력의 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 다만 과잉경쟁태도가 높은 집단에서 의사소통능력의 하위 항목 중, 표현성 점수가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship among pre-service teachers' hyper competitive attitude, self-esteem, and communication ability. In this study, the Hyper competitive Inventory, Self-esteem Inventory, and Communication ability Inventory were distributed to 168 pre-service teachers who were the subjects of this study. The results of this study are as follows: First, in the relation between hyper competitive attitude and self-esteem, the group of pre-service teachers with a high level of hyper competitive attitude had high scores for self-acceptance, self-responsibility, self-assertion, purpose-oriented life among the components of self-esteem, and total self-esteem. Second, in the relation between hyper competitive attitude and communication ability, the group of pre-service teachers with a high level of hyper competitive had high scores for the expressiveness among the components of communication ability.
