그림책에 기초한 주제환상극놀이가 만 2세 영아의 정서조절능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 정서조절 관련내용을 포함한 그림책을 선정하여 그림책에 기초한 주제환상극놀이를 진행하고, 만 2세 영아의 정서조절능력에 미치는 영향을 밝힘으로써 영아를 위한 주제환상극놀이의 효과검증을 통해 영아를 위한 정서조절향상 교수학습방법을 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 B시에 위치한 Y어린이집과 S어린이집 만 2세 영아 각 14명을 실험집단과 비교집단으로 선정하였다. 실험집단은 정서조절 내용을 포함한 그림책을 선정하여 그림책에 기초한 주제환상극놀이를 실시하였고, 비교집단은 정서조절에 관한 이야기나누기활동을 하였다. 정서조절능력 검사도구는 김주영(2011)이개발한 ‘영아의 정서조절능력 측정척도’를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 t-검증을 통해 집단 간 차이를 분석하였다. 연구결과 그림책에 기초한 주제환상극놀이가 만 2세 영아의 정서조절능력 전체에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났으며, 정서조절의 하위영역 중 정서관리, 정서적 대처의 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타나 정서조절능력을 발달시키기 위한 효과적인 교수학습방법임을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to 1) explore how thematic fantasy play based on picture books affect the ability to regulate emotions, 2) broaden the understanding of the emotion regulation ability in 2-year-old infants and 3) provide teaching methods to improve the ability of emotion regulation . To look into these research questions, the researcher selected two groups, an experimental group and a comparative group. The comparative group consisted of fourteen 2-year-old infants at Y day care center located in Busan. The experimental group consisted of fourteen 2-year-old infants at S day care center located in Busan. The data collected from the pre-post examination were analyzed by independent sample t-test with the average and standard deviation of the experimental and comparative groups. The outcomes of the study were as follows. First, the emotional regulation ability of infants who experienced thematic fantasy play based on picture books showed a positive and meaningful difference. Second, infants who experienced thematic fantasy play based on picture books showed improvement in the scores for emotional coping, but with no statistical significance. These results from the data support the conclusion that thematic fantasy play based on picture books has positive effects on the emotional regulation ability of 2-year-old infants. Furthermore, it demonstrates thematic fantasy play to be an effective program for improving emotional regulation ability of 2-year-old infants.
