예비유아교사의 소명감, 진로스트레스, 진로결정 자기효능감이 학과만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 학과만족도를 향상시키기 위한 방안을 탐색하고자 이들의 소명감, 진로스트레스, 진로결정 자기효능감이 학과만족도에 미치는 영향에 대하여 조사하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 예비유아교사 396명으로, 그들의 소명감, 진로스트레스, 진로결정 자기효능감, 학과만족도 사이에 대한 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 예비유아교사의 소명감, 진로스트레스, 진로결정 자기효능감은 모두 그들의 학과만족도에 유의미한 영향력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 소명감과 진로결정 자기효능감이 높고, 진로스트레스가 낮은 예비유아교사일수록 학과에 더욱 만족한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 중심으로 대학의 예비유아교사 양성과정에서 이들의 소명감과 진로결정 자기효능감을 높이고 진로스트레스를 낮출 수 있는 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among a sense of calling, career stress, career self-efficacy, and satisfaction with an academic department. For the purpose of the study, multiple regression analysis was employed. The result of this study indicated that all of the variables used in this study were correlated. In addition, three variables including a sense of calling, career stress, and career decision-making self-efficacy have significant impacts on satisfaction with an academic department. In other words, the higher levels of a sense of calling and career decision-making self-efficacy, and the lower levels of career stress the pre-service early childhood teachers have, the higher degree of satisfaction with an academic department they have. The results of the current study suggests that having a sense of calling, reducing career stress, and enhancing career decision-making self-efficacy for prospective teachers should be emphasized for improving their sense of satisfaction with an academic department because the sense of satisfaction with academic department might be connected to their future job satisfaction as well as to their passion for professional development.
