국문 초록

본 연구는 문학 반응 활성화를 위한 유아 교사의 그림책 읽어주기 실태 및 인식 연구이다. 연구 대상은 서울, 경기 지역에 소재한 유치원 교사와 어린이집 교사 240명이고, 연구 방법은 질문지 조사이며, 도구는 연구자가 제작한 질문지를 활용하였다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 유아 교사들은 그림책 읽어주기에 대한 인식 수준이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 높은 인식에 비해 그림책 읽어주기 내용과 방법, 시간 등이 구체적 교수 전략화 되지 않은 채 이루어지고 있다는 현장의 실태를 나타냈다. 이는, 그림책 읽어주기에 대한 교사의 관심 및인식이 체계적인 교육 활동으로 이어질 수 있도록 하기위한 그림책 읽어주기 교수 전략의 필요성 을 시사하였다. 둘째, 유아 교사들은 특히, 글과 그림 읽기의 중요성, 패러텍스트 읽기에 대하여 높은 인식 수준 을 보였으며, 이는 문학 반응 관련 요소로서, 문학 반응 활성화를 위한 교수 전략에 반영되어야 함을 시사하였다. 셋째, 본 연구는 문학 반응 활성화를 위한 그림책 읽어주기 교수 전략 구성과 유아 문학교육을 위한 교사 교육의 내용을 구성하고 현장에 적용하기 위한 토대가 되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to investigate the current status of picturebook reading in the classroom and early childhood teachers’ perception of the activation of responses to literature. Our research subjects were 240 kindergarten and child-care center teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggido. A questionnaire survey was used as the research method. The results of this study are as follows. First, early childhood teachers’ perception of picturebook reading is very high. However, the current status in the classroom was that the contents, methods, and time for picturebook reading were not specifically strategized for classroom instruction. This suggests that there is a necessity to strategize picturebook reading instruction so that teachers' interest in and perception of picturebook reading can lead to a systematic educational activity. Second, early childhood teachers showed the perception that picturebook reading and paratext reading had high importance, which suggests that the teaching strategy for the activation of responses to literature should be reflected as responses to literature related factors. Third, the results of this study could be a foundation for organizing the teaching strategy of picturebook reading for activating responses to literature, organizing the contents of early childhood teacher education programs on early childhood literature education, and applying them to various educational fields.
