『마당을 나온 암탉』의 유아교육적 함의 - Lacan의 욕망 이론을 중심으로 -

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 『마당을 나온 암탉』에 나타난 주인공의 욕망형성과정을 분석해 봄으로써 타자 와의 관계가 주체형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 고찰해 보았다. 이를 위해 이야기를 배경(공간)대립, 인물대립, 사건(죽음)대립 세 가지로 범주화하고 이를 Lacan의 욕망이론을 중심으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 잎싹은 닭장에서 마당으로, 마당에서 마당 밖으로 공간을 오가며 끊임없이 자신의 욕망을 충족시키기 위해 노력한다. 마당에서는 암컷이 알을 품고 병아리를 데리고 다니는 모습을 보면서 암컷의 삶을 욕망하고, 마당 밖에서는 청둥오리가 자식을 위해 목숨을 거는 모습을 보면서 강한 어미의 삶을 욕망한다. 그리고 초록머리가 하늘을 나는 모습을 보면서 초록머리의 삶을 욕망한다. 이와 같이 잎싹은 타자의 욕망을 욕망하면서 주체성을 형성하고 자신의 삶을 지속시키는 원동력으로 삶는다.

영문 초록

In this study, the authors attempted to determine the effects of the relationships with others on the composition of desire of subject by analyzing the process of composition desire in the subject of A Hen into the Wild. For the purpose of study, the content of the book was categorized as conflict of spaces, conflict of figures and confrontation of death and analyzed focusing on Lacan's Desire Theory. According to the result, Ipssak (Leafle) made efforts to satisfy her desire from the hen house to yard, and from yard to the outside space. In the yard, she desired the life of a hen in which incubated eggs are under the protection of a rooster and she takes walk accompanied by chicks. Outside of the yard, she desired the life of a strong mother watching a mallard sacrificing her life for her children. When she saw Chorokmeori (Green Head) flying in the sky, she desired the life of Chorokmeori regretting that she had not tried to fly even though she had wings. As such, Ipssak was conscious of the way that others lived life and desired their desires.
