만 5세 학급 담임 교사의 읽기, 쓰기 교육 경험에 대한 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 만 5세 학급 담임 교사의 읽기 쓰기 경험을 분석함으로써 만 5세 유아를 위한 문해 교육의 방향성을 탐구하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구 대상은 대구 지역 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하는 경력 3년 이상의 만 5세 학급 담임 교사 10명이며 소그룹으로 심층 면접을 실시하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 만 5세 학급 담임 교사들은 만 5세 유아의 문해 발달과 문해 교육 수준의 상향화, 가족의 문해 학습 기능을 대체해야한다는 책임감, 초등교육과정과의 충돌, 교 사 자신의 문해 효능감에 대한 회의감으로 인하여 갈등과 혼동을 겪고 있었다. 둘째, 만 5세 학급 담임 교사들은 교재 중심의 교육이 유아의 문해 교육에 대한 동기와 흥미를 저해하고 있고, 효과적 인 문해 교육을 위해서 유아들이 스스로 문자의 구조와 법칙을 발견하고 자신의 필요에 의해 글을 사용하고 창조하는 환경이 마련될 수 있어야 하며 문자사용의 정확성에 초점을 맞춘 평가가 아니 라 문자사용의 과정을 격려하고 지원하는 상호작용이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the literacy education experience of teacher’s 5-year-old children. During the study, in-depth interviews were conducted targeting ten teacher’s 5-year-old children who work in the Dea-gu area and have over three years'career experience. The first result of the study showed that the teachers of 5-year-old children. had various problems implementing the curriculum for literacy based on the kindergarten' curriculum. That was why there is literacy development for 5-year-old children and deepen individual at present, strengthen duty to literacy education for connection of primary' curriculum, demand of parents, increase in dual-income and broken family and question of teachers' efficacy on literacy education. The second result of the study showed that teacher’s 5-year-old children seek directivity for an effective curriculum on literacy based on the spontaneous literacy experience of 5-year-old children. The results suggest that a curriculum on literacy must be integrated into children' lives not just use study-aid books but include play. A literacy environment is prepared for 5-year-old children find and do over again rule and structure of letter, add to this, use reading and writing for their need. And they suggested essence of literacy education that we must continually communicate to encourage process to be efficient user of literacy not assess to outcome of using literacy.
